¶150–¶153 Now watch, they…both of them were “virgins.” Now let me get this. Here, let’s takes these two right here. This is a virgin and this is a virgin, this was a foolish virgin and this was a wise virgin, but both of them are virgins. Now if you’ll take that name virgin and run it down, it means—it means “holy, clean, sanctified.” The word sanctified comes from the word “sainted,” which mean, “clean.” Like the Hebrew word…Now, that’s a Greek word, sanctify means “clean.” Now, the Hebrew word is make “holy.” See? And ours is “clean.” Now, they take the three words, like each word has the same meaning but it’s spoke different, like the— the word “clean, holy, sanctified,” all three the same word. Like we was going to speak the word like dog. I’d say, “dog,” that’s English. If I’d say dog in German, Fred, it’s “hund.” Is that right? Brother Norman, if I say dog in Spanish, it’s “ajo.” Ajo, Hund, and dog is all dog to us, see. See, it’s—it’s just so, an expression. So, the Greek word for clean is “sanctify,” the Hebrew word is “holy.” Holy, clean, and sanctify, is all the same word. So this was not a filthy, dirty church; it was a sanctified, clean church, “ten virgins went out to meet the Bridegroom.” What does it mean? All these churches. Not…now, not down here in the Roman; but down into the denominationals, the Nicolaitanes. Baptist preach on the Second Coming of Christ; Methodist preach the Second Coming of Christ; Presbyterian preach the Second Coming of Christ; Nazarenes preach the Second Coming of Christ; Pilgrim Holiness preach the Second Coming of Christ. That right? “All of them went out to meet the Bridegroom.” Now you—you remember that they every one was on their road to meet the—the Bridegroom. Now, if God only respects that, then He have, take them too.
¶164–¶166 We read the other night, where It said, “These people will not be an organization, they’ll be wanderers around in the land, dwelling in tents, poor, humble.” But said, “Don’t you try to curse them, ’cause I’m with them.” Now watch! These people believe in the same ritual that they believed in, and worshipped the same God. See? But they didn’t have signs and wonders following them! Israel had a Brass Serpent, a smitten Rock, the joy of the King, Divine healing, prophets, everything right down here. And they did not, they had the ritual without—without the blessing, the Oil. The same thing with the sleeping virgin and the wise virgin, they were both sanctified people. But this one had Oil. And this one did not have Oil, so they said, “We’re as good as you are.” That’s…There’s none of us good, as far as that concern. “Why, you’re a bunch of holy- rollers!” Well, that’s okay, uh-huh, that’s all right. There’s none of us good, we all sinned and come short of the glory of God. But the only way you’ll ever know It, not by joining church, not by trying to live good, but while receiving Christ. It ain’t what I live; it’s what He was. It ain’t what I am; it’s what He is. He become me that I might, through His grace, become Him, the son of God. You see it? Now, a sleeping virgin, and a wise virgin with Oil in her lamp. Now, all of a sudden, there came a sound, “Behold, the Bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet Him!” And they wakened. But when they did, this one could go in ’cause they had Oil in the lamp. That was the difference.
¶170–¶176 All right, to some of you legalist-believing brethren on this tape, would like to burn it: When did they become fish? When the net went over them? They were fish in the beginning! That’s right. Elected from the foundation of the world! They just never come into the Master’s use. That’s your frog. You take an old frog and throw him up on the bank, just “whop, whop” right back to the water. And the ol’ crawfish sitting there, say, “Aha, that’s a bunch of holy- rollers.” There he goes back, “Ah—ah—ah—ah—ah. Oh, no!” Right back to the mud as hard as he can go. That’s right. The ol’ snake hissing along a little bit, “I believe the days of miracles is past, Doctor So-and-so and So-and-so told me.” Said, “Ah—ah—ah— ah—ah—ah—ah, you can’t fool me!” There she goes, right over there again, you see. Snake, to begin with! Frog, to begin with! Paul said in the Bible, them kind, he said, “They went out from us because they wasn’t of us to start with.” See? Uhm! All right, the foolish virgin. The wise virgin with Oil in her lamp, she made ready. Now, “while she was gone to get some Oil,” that’s what they’re trying to do right now. These great evangelical churches, trying to find these great things, you know, and do…go back to the Bible, back, “we need the Pentecostal Blessing.” Why, you can imagine what kind of a service they’re going to have, see. They ain’t going to get down there and spoil all that manicure on them, and all of that. Oh, no. They ain’t going to give up them sororities and societies and things like that. Holding on to the world like Esau, in one hand, try to catch God with the other one. You can’t do it. You can’t be a cross-eyed Christian, you know, looking at God and the world too. You got to center yourself in Calvary, stay right there with That.

¶207–¶212 So, we have two classes today that’s professing. Now listen close, in closing. We have two classes that’s professing to be the Bride of Christ. That’s right. And the Bible speaks there will be two classes. That’s right. The wise virgin and the foolish one. Is that right? There’s two classes. The church says, “We are the Church.” They go out and have these great evangelistic campaigns, bring the people into the church. The women continue on with their way of doing. The men continue on with their way of doing. They never change their doctrine. They got it all wrote out, and documented, and set down, and those Apostles’ Creed, and certain prayers, and all these catechisms, and everything that the Methodists, and Baptists, and Presbyterians, and Catholic, and all, read. And they accept that catechism because some great man back behind said that was right. He might have been a great man, he might have been right, but he hasn’t got the authority to say that. Cause, the Bible is God’s authority. It’s the written Word of God. “And any man that adds one thing to It, or takes anything from It, the same will be taken (his part) out of the Book of Life.” That can’t be done so, now. But we have two professing it. One said, “Well, we’re the Church.” The other one said, “We’re the Church.” All right. The wise and foolish, both are invited. But did you notice? They both had vessels. That’s right. They both was virgins, believers. They both had vessels.
¶219–¶224 Let them out there. They’ll laugh at the system. They say, “They’re crazy.” But Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, which is Himself, to get it to those that’s behind the Word, like Abraham’s group, to confirm the Word before them, to show that He’s still the Word. See that you’ve taken the right place! All right. Fire is the confirmation of the Light coming from the Word. They will fill…The smart virgin, the wise virgin, had Oil in Her lamp, and She trimmed Her lamp and lit it. Now, what is it? Now, the…God is the Word. The Oil is the Spirit. And the Fire is the Gospel Light on that Oil. God said so. See? That’s the vessel. All right. The Oil is in the vessel. And the Fire, burning It, shows that It’s reflecting the Light of what the Word said. See? That’s the reflection. Now, that wise virgin could do that. But that other, foolish virgin, was on the outside, had no Oil, and they couldn’t reflect nothing but just their church and their denomination. See? Now, you say, “The Word, you said ‘the Word was—was Spirit’?” Yes, sir. God said, “My Word is Spirit.” That’s right. The true Bride must be unified by the Word. Now, remember, if She is a part of Christ, She has to be the Word of Christ. In order to be the Word of Christ, you have to be baptized into Christ. And when you’re in Christ, you believe Christ, and Christ is the Word. Amen! Amen! Amen! Do you believe It? Amen! Do you love Him? Amen! Will you serve Him? Amen! Amen! Amen! He’s the Light of the world. (That’s right.) Amen! He’s the joy of our heart. Amen! He’s the Power of our life. Amen! Amen! Amen!

¶103–¶105 Now, the parable of the five virgins—or the ten virgins it is, please excuse me. The ten virgins is found in Matthew 25:1. Ten virgins went out to meet the bridegroom (now notice!), and five of them were wise and had oil in their lamps, five were unwise and did not have oil in their lamps. While they slumbered, the cry—cry come, “Go meet the bridegroom.” And the ones that had oil in their lamps, trimmed their lamps, the fire was burning, and they went out to meet the bridegroom. The others come to buy oil, and they told them to go and get from— oil from those who sold it. While they were going, the bride come and the—and the—the wise virgin went in, and the sleeping virgin was cast out. This is going to hurt, really hurt, but I’ve just got to say it. I never asked the question; I’m just responsible for answering it. Now, this comes so close to home, brother, so close, till I hope that it helps instead of hurts. Usually you have to hurt…As mama used to say when she give me a whipping, she said, “It has to hurt before it does you good.” Well, that—that is right. See? I couldn’t see it then, but I—I see it now. Look, the…All ten of them that went out were virgins. Now, there were ten virgins went to meet the Lord. Now, the word virgin means “sanctified (does anybody know that?), holy, pure, sanctified.” There were ten of them that went out to meet the Lord.
¶126–¶128 The mark of the beast is on today, and the—the Seal of God is the Holy Spirit. To reject it is the mark of the beast. Ever who sees the Holy Ghost, that you’re supposed to receive It, and don’t do it, automatically you take the mark of the beast, because there’s only two classes to exist: all that didn’t have the Seal of God had the mark of the beast. So to receive the Seal of God is to receive the Holy Ghost. To reject It is to have the mark of the beast. There’s the whole thing. That’s exactly right. Now, the Bride went up, the remnant left here. And she is the one who come in the second resurrection. “Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection, on which the second death has no power.” That’s right. The second resurrection will be the White Throne Judgment, then the church…“Don’t you know,” said Paul, “go amongst the unbelievers and the lawyers and so forth when the saints shall judge the earth.” These matters should be judged before the Church, not before the unjust magistrates and so forth, but before the Church our matters should. Dare you take one another to the law. And God pity a man that’ll take a Christian to law. That’s right. Paul even dared them to do it. Now, that’s the Bride, and there goes the sleeping virgin, left on earth. The wise virgin goes into Heaven with oil in her lamp. I know we could spend a lot of time on that, but I got—I’m going to hurry to get through this.
