  • ¶64–¶64 Now, in the 10th chapter of the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, I wish to read the first few verses, the first seven verses, 1 to 7. And listen close now, and pray for me. And I saw another mighty—another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face…as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the earth, And he cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.   • ¶301–¶303 Notice, “The Book written,” when this angel finishes all these loose-end ministeries that through the battle they fought, Luther fought, and Wesley fought, and the Pentecostals fought. “But there’s coming one,” says the Bible, “that in the days of his sounding, all these mysteries…” The oneness run off on Jesus Name; the trinity went off on Father, Son, Holy Ghost, just like they did at the Nicaea Council, same thing; they both was wrong. But, now, in the middle of the road, in the Scriptures, lays out the Truth. You see where we’re at? The Angel of the Lord! Notice Revelation 5:1. Listen at this now: And I saw in the right hand of him that sat upon the throne a book written within (the writing was withinside) and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. Now, there is writing on the inside of the Book. But, the backside had Seven Seals, on the back of It, that wasn’t written in the Book. Now, this is the revelator talking, John. Now, remember, It wasn’t written in the Book. “And in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, all this mystery that’s written within should be finished.” It should be taken care of, in that day. Now do you see what I mean? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Are you following me? [“Amen.”] Then is the time for the seven voices of Revelation 10 to be revealed. When the Book is finished, there is only one thing left, and that’s the seven mysterious voices of thunder that was wrote on the backside of the Book, that John was forbidden to write. Let me read it. And I saw an angel, mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as…the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book open:…(See, now watch this.)…and he set his right foot on the sea,…his left…on the earth, And he cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he…cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.   • ¶304–¶308 There was something said. It just wasn’t a noise. Something was said. He was about to write. …and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,… Look where the voices was, the Thunders. Not in Heaven; on earth! The Thunders never uttered from the heavens. They uttered from the earth. …and I was about to write: when I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal (capital S-e-a-l), Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. It’s on the backside, when a Book is completed. Not did he say, “On the front side.” He said, “On the backside,” after It’s all done, completed. Then, these Seven Thunders’ voices is the only thing, that’s stuck to the Book, that’s not revealed. It’s not even written in the Book. Oh, my! I wish I could get that, that the people could actually… Don’t fail. Don’t, don’t fail. Please don’t, this time. I’m fixing to leave you. Don’t fail. You ever listened, listen! These Seals are on the backside of the Book. “And at the time that the seventh angel is sounding, all the mysteries that are written in the Book is completed.” And immediately the Book, that was open and written within, is closed, “The mysteries of God is finished.” And this is the mysteries of God: the going of the Church, and all these other things. “The mysteries is over.” When that seventh angel sounds out every mystery, it’s over. Let him be who he may, whatever it might be. God’s Word can’t fail. And He said: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he has declared to his servants the prophets.

  • ¶314–¶318 Now, “When he begins to sound, the mystery will be finished.” Now, note, then it’s time for the Seven Seal voices, of Revelation 10, to be revealed. Do you understand? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] When all the mysteries of the Book has completed! And the Bible said, here, that he would finish the mysteries. When, men back in other ages has fought for Truth. They fought for justification. They went a while. Sanctification! They fought for this, and they fought for that. They fought for this. What did they do? Turned right around and organized into it, same thing. Pentecostals, and the Baptists, Presbyterian, Lutherans, every one, done the same thing, turned right around and done the same thing. And the Bible said, in Revelation 17, that’s what they would do, old mother whore and her daughters, “MYSTERY, BABYLON.” The Bible said, here, that that would be one of the mysteries that would be unfolded. Protestants, prostitutes, “committing spiritual fornications,” leading people by denominations, with their “cup of iniquity,” of man- made doctrine; and pulling them away from the fountain filled with Blood, where the Power of Almighty God flows freely to manifest Jesus Christ. That’s true. Then, God will back It up, and He has done it, and He will continue. But, when that comes to pass, the Word is finished. Now there’s only one thing left, that’s Seven Thunders, that we don’t know. And it would not have thundered in vain. God don’t do something just to be playing. We play and act silly, but not God. Everything with God is “Aye” and “Nay.” He doesn’t just fool. He doesn’t kid. He means what He says. And He says nothing ’less there’s something, a meaning to it.

  • ¶319–¶323 And Seven Thunders, right in the revelation here of Jesus Christ, It’s some mystery. Does not the Bible say that This is “The revelation of Jesus Christ”? Why, there is some hidden mystery, then, of It. Hum! What is It? The Seven Thunders have It. For, John was just about to write, and a Voice came down from Heaven, said, “Don’t write It. But, seal It. Seal It up. Put It on the backside of the Book.” It’s got to be revealed. It’s the mysteries. Now, we solved out these things, by the Holy Spirit, has told us, “Wasn’t apples. It was sexual.” Told us these things. There is not no one able to stand before It. I’ve never seen a preacher, in my life, agreed with It. But, I’ve asked them. You know, in Chicago, when we stood before them, about three hundred and fifty preachers, you women here from Chicago, you were there, heard about it. And the Lord told me, three nights before, said, “They’re going to set a trap for you.” Said, “Stand at the window here and I’ll show you.” Said, “Mr. Carlson and—and Tommy Hicks will meet you tomorrow morning, want to go to breakfast. And you tell Tommy to stay. But,” said, “here is the way it’ll look. Tell them that they’re not going to have that meeting in the place they’re thinking about. They’re going to be in another place.” Said, “Don’t you fear. I’ll be with you.” That’s good enough for me. The next morning, Mr. Carlson, president of the Full Gospel Business Men, come, said…called me up, said, “Brother Branham, I want to go to breakfast with you.”

  • ¶340–¶345 It’s not me they’re afraid of; it’s that Angel of the Almighty God. That, they know, if He could foretell me to come…They even brighter than I thought they were. They knowed better than to stand there. Uh- huh. You know, you’ve been in times, in them times, too. But they didn’t do it. What’s the matter, if it’s so great, and they know it’s so truthful? I’ve put it on tape, and anywhere else; I’m ready to talk it over, in a Christian way, with any brother. I won’t argue with nobody; but I want you come, disprove any of It, by the Word. Not by your textbook, now; not what Dr. So-and-so, or Saint So-and-so said. I want to know what God said. That’s the basis. I want to know what That is. They don’t do it. Now, look, when it is time for the seven voices. Then it’s time for the seven voices, when the Book is completed, of Revelation 10 to be revealed. Now notice. Listen. Now, I won’t keep you too much longer. I know I’m wearing you out, here. It’s twenty minutes till ten. [Congregation says, “No. Go ahead!”—Ed.] Listen close now. I know, standing up, and you all changing positions and things. I’ll be glad when the church gets fixed so we won’t have to be cramped up. We can take all day to preach It. Now notice. Now note. The seven voices was thunders, blasts. God, help us. If I’m wrong, Lord, forgive me. I’m asking you the question. It blasted with thunder, when this voice rung out. Did you notice, that, when the Seven Seals that follow the seven church ages, when the First Seal was opened, that there was a thunder? The First Seals in the Book was opened, there was a thunder; would not this First Seal of the outside Book open the same way? God doesn’t change His program. Let’s turn over to Revelation 6. And I saw when the Lamb had opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it was the noise of a thunder, and one of the four beasts said, Come and see.

  • ¶358–¶362 This is the complete revelation of Jesus Christ. “Nothing can be added to It or taken from It.” And if we put that in There, it don’t act with the rest of the Scripture. There is sixty-six Books of this Bible, and not one Word will contradict the other One. And then, if this is the continuation, for the sounding of these last trumpets, or these last Seven Thunders that’s coming forth, the mysteries, the last Seals, It’ll have to compete, or compare, with the rest the Scripture. And if them first Ones in there opened with a blast of thunder, the second Ones will, too, that’s on the backside. Watch what happens. If the vision was Scripture, then it must be interpreted by the Scripture, or a continuation of the same Scripture. Notice, Revelation, 3 and 4, “Seven Thunders.” Seven Thunders, and then notice, 3 and 4, and then (what?) an oath from that mighty Angel, that, “Time was finished.” When these Thunders, you see, brought forth their voices, then the Angel… Just think of it! “An Angel, clothed in a cloud, and a rainbow covenant over His head.” Why, you know Who that is. “Put one foot on the land, and on the sea, and lift up His hand and swore, that, ‘When them Seven Thunders uttered their voices,’ that, ‘time would be no more.’” And if the ministry of the mysteries of God is finished, what if that is them seven mysteries coming forth? And a humble, little church like ours, that the Almighty has come and regarded the low estate of His people! You say, “What? I don’t think so.” It might not be. But what if it is? Then time has run out. Did you think it? Be serious. It may be later than we think.

  • ¶371–¶377 Might be closer than you think it is. It’s got me scared. Oh, I haven’t done enough. Where are we at? “Time shall be no more.” He announces that time is over. What happens? What happens? Could that be so now, brethren? Seriously think. If it is, then the pyramid is capped by the Seven Thunders. You remember the pyramid Message? It’s the Capstone. What did It do? The Holy Spirit capped off the individual and seal it, when we added to our faith; righteousness, and godliness, and faith, and so forth, and kept adding to it till we got seven things. And the seventh one was love, which is God. That’s how He makes the individual, and caps him and seals him with the Holy Spirit. Then, if that be so, He’s got seven church ages, that He’s had seven mysteries that’s been sounded away, and they fought for, to bring back. And now the Headstone comes, to cap off the Church. Does the Thunders mean that, my brethren? Sirs, is that where we’re at? Junie, I want to take your dream. Look. Junior, before the pyramid was ever preached, months before it, seen this dream. You say, “What about a dream?” Nebuchadnezzar dreamed a dream that Daniel interpret, told the beginning of the Gentile age and when it would leave. And it’s done just exactly that way. Not one bit has failed. You notice? The writing that the…was on the rocks, I was interpret It for them. They were elated. That’s “the mystery of God” that’s been not understood, for years. Could that be that?

  • ¶378–¶384 And then notice. In some mysterious way, we picked up, out of the air, a sharp tool that opened up the top. And in there was white granite, but It wasn’t interpreted. There was no letters. I didn’t interpret That, Junior. I just looked at It, and said to the brethren, “Look on This.” And that’s fulfilled, tonight. And while they were studying That, I slipped towards the west. What for? Maybe to understand the interpretation of what’s written in the top of This. Could it be? And Those, blasting, the other morning, that shook me plumb till I raised up in the air, as high as this building, that constellation of Angels, seven Angels in the form of a pyramid. Is that them Thunders that’s coming forth? Could it be? This is all interpreted. According to his dream, it was all finished. According to God’s Word, the seventh messenger will finish, seventh Message will be finished, and then the Seven Thunders. And he saw the capstone rolled over. Which, many people don’t even know there is Seven Seals to be revealed. I’ve read many men’s books on Revelation, never did hear It talked on. They skip That. But it’s been told you that It’s there. I don’t know what it is. Could that be that? God be merciful to us! If that is, we’re in a serious hour. Now, just a minute, look. If that be so, and the mystery is finished, that was wrote in these rocks. I’m glad to be sitting in a church with godly people who God can give a dream to. I’m glad to introduce to these men and women that goes to Junior’s church, and to this church, to Brother Neville’s, and them, that there’s people sitting in this congregation, and the Bible said, “They would dream dreams in the last days.” And here it is. And look at it, it’s comparing with the Word.

2. THE SEVENTH SEAL — 1963-03-24

  • ¶249–¶254 Now, why? Let us prove it. Why? It is the secret that no one knows about. John was forbidding to write about It, even—even write a symbol about It. Why? This is why there was no active in— activity in Heaven: it might give away the secret. Do you see it now? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] If It’s so great, It must be included, because It’s got to happen. But when the Seven Thunders… Now notice. When the seven Angels come forth to sound their Trumpets, there was one thunder. [Brother Branham knocks on the pulpit once—Ed.] When Israel was gathered, there was a trumpet. “When time shall be no more,” the last trumpet, one thunder. But here is Seven straight Thunders, right in a row: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, that perfect number. Seven Thunders in a row, uttered, not…making just—just one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, straight. [Brother Branham knocked on the pulpit seven times—Ed.] Then, Heavens couldn’t write That. Heavens can’t know about It, nothing else, because there’s nothing to go on. It was a relaxing time. It was so great, till, It was kept secret from the Angels. Now, why? If Satan should get a hold of It, he might do great damage. There is one thing he don’t know. Now, he can interpret anything he wants to, and impersonate any kind of a gift, (I hope you’re learning), but he can’t know This. It’s not even written in the Word. It’s a total secret. The Angels, everything, shut up. If they made one move, it might give something away, so they just shut up, quit harping. Everything stopped.

  • ¶267–¶272 Notice, one thunder, Seven Messages that’s been sealed up and cannot be revealed until the last day, of this age. See what I mean? Now, have you noticed the mysterious part of this week? That’s what It is. That’s what It’s been. It’s been not a human being, a—a man, it has been the Angels of the Lord. Notice, there is witnesses, of three, sitting in here, that a week ago, a little over a week ago, I was up, way back into the mountains, nearly to Mexico, with two brethren that’s sitting here. Picking cocklebur, or sandburs, off of my trouser leg; and a blast went off, that almost, looked like, shook the mountains down. Now, that’s right. I never told my brethren, but they noticed a difference. And He said to me, “Now be ready. Go east. Here is the interpretation of that vision.” See? Now, to let you know, Brother Sothmann has not got the game that he went after. We was trying to get it for him. And He said, “Now, tonight, for a sign to you, he isn’t going to do it. You must consecrate yourself at this time for the visitation of these Angels.” And I felt beside myself, you remember. And I was in the west, the Angels was coming east, and as They come by, I was picked up with Them, (You remember that?) coming east. And Brother Fred, in here tonight, is a witness, and Brother Norman. As we went down, I almost persuaded that man to stay and get his game. Is that right, Brother Sothmann? [Brother Fred Sothmann says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Yeah, there, stands right there. I persuaded; but, yet, He said, “He won’t do it.” I never said nothing; went on.

  • ¶324–¶329 But, It’s moving into that cycle, see. It’s coming up close. So, the thing for you to do is to remember that I speak to you in the Name of the Lord. Be prepared, for you don’t know what time something can happen. Now, when that gets on tape, which It is, that’ll probably send ten thousand of my friends away from me. Cause, they’re going to say, that, “Brother Branham is trying to put himself, and make himself, a— a servant or a prophet, or something, before God.” Let me tell you, my brethren, that is an error. I’m only telling you what I seen and what has been told to me. And now you—you do whatever you want to. I don’t know who is going to…what’s going to take place. I do not know. I just know that those Seven Thunders holds that mystery. The Heavens was quiet. Everybody understand? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] It may be time, it may be the hour now, that this great person that we’re expecting to rise on the scene may arise on the scene. Maybe this ministry, that I have tried to take people back to the Word, has laid a foundation; and if it has, I’ll be leaving you, for good. There won’t be two of us here the same time. See? If it is, he’ll increase; I’ll decrease. I don’t know. But I have been privileged, by God, to look and see what It was, see, see unfold to that much. Now, that is the Truth. And I’m sure that you’ve noticed the things that’s been happening this week. I’m sure you noticed that little Collins boy laying there, dying, the other night; that little, leukemia girl.

  • ¶389–¶393 You notice it, another purging time, that’s for Israel, when she gathers. That’s the second fold. God purges Israel in the Tribulation period. Out of the millions that’ll gather there, there’ll be a selected one hundred and forty-four thousand, and they will be purged, also. God is purging Israel. Notice, there is a whole earth is to be purged. There will be such a thing that the moon, stars, and all nature, will be purged. You see what it is? The earth is renewing herself, being purged, getting ready for the Millennium. The Millennium is coming up. And, see, everything that’s got any filth in it is to be purged during the Sixth Seal. Now, now, do you notice? On the opening of this Seventh Seal, it’s also in a threefold mystery. This one, I have…will speak and have spoke, that it is the mystery of the Seven Thunders. The Seven Thunders in Heaven will unfold this mystery. It’ll be right at the Coming of Christ, because Christ said no one knew when He would return. Did you notice, when the Jews asked Him that? Know…When we compared the Scripture here with Matthew 24, with the six Seals, the Seventh Seal was left out. Because, you see, Christ said only God Himself knowed, not even the Angels. No wonder, It wasn’t even written. You see, they hushed; nothing take place then. Angels don’t know It. Nobody knows when He is coming. But there’ll be a—there’ll be a—a Seven Voices, of these Thunders, that will reveal the great revelation at that time. So, I believe, to us who…If we don’t know It, and if we…It won’t be knowed till that time. But it will be revealed in that day, in the hour that it’s supposed to be revealed in. So, the thing for us to do is to be reverent before God, and serve Him, and do all that we know how to do, and live good, Christian lives. Here, now, we find that the Sixth Seal has been opened to us; we see It. And we know that this Seventh Seal cannot be broke to the public until that hour arrive.

  • ¶394–¶398 Now, there was some reason that God let this Seven Voices be thundered. Because, It must come, see. For the…We find that Christ, the Lamb, took the—the Book in His hand, and He opened that Seventh Seal. But, you see, it’s a hidden mystery. No one knows It. But, It—It, right along with what He said, “No one would know His Coming.” They also would not know about this Seven-Thunder mystery. So, you see, it’s connected together. That much, we have an understanding of It, today, because the rest of It is all unfolded; but this is not unfolded. But sitting in my room, and I heard this…or, not heard it, rather, but seen It unfold to this Seven Thunders. Now, that’s as far as we can go, right there. And now I trust that each and every one of you will serve God and do that which is right. And love Him, all your life, and serve Him. And God will take care of the rest. Now, we have, in the completion here now, by the grace of God, all the mysteries of the six Seals that’s been sealed up, and we understand and know here that the Seventh Seal is not to be known to the public. Now, His Coming, at the hour of His Coming, when the destruction of the earth, you know, He said, there, “What will be the sign of the coming of the end of the world?” In Matthew 24, there where they asked Him that question. He went down to that. He told about Israel being gathered as a nation, in the 31st verse, of Matthew 24:31. But then He started off on parables, see. Then you see the… “Learn a parable of the fig tree. When you see it putting forth its buds, why, you know spring is nigh. And then when you see this coming to pass, then know the time is nigh.” See, Israel gathering in its own homeland. But, you notice, He omitted the revelation of this Seventh Seal.

  • ¶411–¶415 The interpretation come just as I had need of It, that was in the room, and I gave It out just as He give It. Now, you see, friends, visions doesn’t fail. They’re always perfect. They’re just exactly true. Now, the vision, plus the Word, plus the history, plus the church ages, and all, blend together. So, I could truly say, that, to the best of my understanding, and according to the Word of God, and the vision, and the revelation, the interpretation thereof is THUS SAITH THE LORD. Now, may the Lord bless you all, each one, real richly, as we stand now and sing this good old song of the church. God bless you, each one. Amen.   • ¶126–¶130 I said, “The lantern won’t show the light right on the house. Oh, no. But that path will lead to the house. But that lantern will only show light for one step at a time.” We’ll walk in the Light, the beautiful Light; one step at a time, Lord, coming closer to Him. Yeah. Children of the Light, accept His Word, keep walking and watch more unfold. Don’t leave It, no matter what somebody else says. Stay right in That and just keep walking with It, watch It unfold and reveal Itself. The Word is a Seed; a seed in the right kind of ground will bring forth its kind. Notice Revelation 10:1 to 7, all the mysteries are to be revealed to the Bride, by the messenger of the Laodicea Church. Has anybody got a Revised Version Bible? If you have, you’ll notice there where it said, “the angel,” it’s in parenthesis it says, “the eagle.” See? Uh-huh. Uh- huh. See? The messenger to the—the Laodicea Church, see, Revelation 10:1 to 7. And he said that this…in that day that he seen Him come down, and he eat up the little book. And there was…“He put one foot on land, and one on the sea, and swore by Him that lives, and ever and ever, that, ‘Time shall be no more.’” And when He did, Seven Thunders uttered their voices. And when the Seven Thunders uttered their voices, John said he was about to write. And He said, “Don’t write It.” Uh-huh. See? And he sealed It. Now, someone said, “Well, that Seven Seals, then, Brother Branham, that will be revealed in the last days, some great mystery how we get closer to God?” No, sir, it can’t be.

4. THE BREACH BETWEEN THE SEVEN CHURCH AGES AND THE SEVEN SEALS — 1963-03-17

  • ¶1–¶4 Good evening, friends. It’s a—a great privilege to be back here in the house of the Lord, tonight, in the service, and still living on the—the manna from this morning, that our souls were so greatly blessed by His great Presence. And now, tonight, we are have a… starting on the subject of: The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals. And I was just speaking, this afternoon, to a friend. And maybe, the Lord willing, sometime this summer, if He doesn’t take me Home, or— or, I get to come back, don’t go overseas or something, I would like to strike again at the seven last Trumpets, see. And it all bridges together. And—and then there’s the seven last Plagues in this. And it all blends right together, as we’ll see as we go along. So, tonight, while we’re kind of getting quietened…I may be just a little lengthy tonight. With even…As soon as I get back here, now… All the preaching I done in Phoenix, I never one time even got hoarse, see. That’s right. And, oh, my, how hard I preached! And for, I believe, it was twenty-seven services, without getting hoarse. But it’s the climate here, you see. Just simply, it’s just bad right here, just a valley. It’s just a bad condition back here, and, of healthy, you know, what I mean, it’s— it’s—it’s bad. And any preacher has a…that speaks, has a bad throat, to begin with. A—a doctor friend of mine looked into my throat, one time, to see what was wrong. Said, “Nothing.” Said, “You just got calluses on your vocal chords there.” Said, “That’s from preaching.” Well, I—I—I kind of like that, you know. That made me feel better, as long as it could be applied to preaching, you see. It would be all right, for the Kingdom of God.

  • ¶28–¶32 We will pause there for a few moments, from the reading of Revelation 5, down to the including the 7th verse. This Seven-Seal Book is revealed at the time of the Seven Thunders of Revelation 10, now, if you’re marking it down. Let’s turn to Revelation 10, just a moment, so you’ll get an understanding before we get into it. Now, this is at the end time. For, listen: …I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow…upon his head,… If you notice, that’s Christ, see. Cause, He, in the Old Testament, was called the Angel of the Covenant. And He is directly coming to the Jews now, for the Church is finished. See? The Church has been raptured, see, now, or fixing to be raptured. He comes for His Church. Now watch. And he had in his hand a little book open:… Now, here, It was closed here and sealed; and here It’s open. It’s been opened. Since that time of the sealing, we’re getting into tonight, now the Book is open. “A little Book in His hand, in His…It was open. Oh, how the sun, as pillars…” Wait just a minute. Let me start back here and read. And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot upon the earth, And he cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roar:…

  • ¶33–¶37 We know He is the Lion of the tribe of Juda. Over here He’s the Lamb; but here He’s the Lion. See? …and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. Now, John was commissioned to write what he saw, so the apostle, and prophet, picked up his pen to write It. And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. Now, that’s what we don’t know. That’s yet to be revealed. It’s not in Holy Script, what them Thunders say. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hands to heaven, (now listen) And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created the heavens, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things…therein are, and…there should be time no longer: Watch! Here is a verse I want to get to. But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he has declared to his servants the prophets. Now, see, the mystery of this Seven-Seal Book will be revealed at the sounding of the seventh church angel’s Message. See? “The seventh angel begins to sound,” and there is the Messages wrote out there, and we got It in tape and book form. Now, “At the beginning of the sounding of the Message, the mystery of God should be finished, see, at that time.” Now we will notice. The Book, of the mystery of God, is not revealed until the seventh angel’s Message is sounded.

  • ¶48–¶51 The Seven Seals holds the mystery of the Book. Until we can see what those Seven Seals has sealed in, we’re only presuming them things. Because, as I’ve told you, this morning, upon my little Message this morning, of God hiding in simplicity. You see, we—we are…We are sure to miss the thing unless It is absolutely, genuinely revealed by the Holy Spirit, and vindicated the same. See? If the prophet rises and tells you that This is just That, and God don’t vindicate the same, forget it. See? But God, in every statement, in everything, has to vindicate It, to make It right. See? So, His children will watch those things, see, and be alert, notice. Seven Seals on the Book, has the…These Seven Seals has the Book sealed. See? The Book is absolutely sealed. Do you see it? The Book is absolutely a sealed Book until the Seven Seals is broken. It is sealed up with Seven Seals. Now, that’s a different from the Seven Thunders. See? This is Seven Seals on the Book. And the Book will not, the Seals will not be released until the Message of the seventh angel. See? So we—we are presuming; but the genuine revelation of God will be made perfect in that sounding, vindicated Truth. Now, that’s exactly what the Word says, “The mystery should be finished at that time.” And this Seven-Seal Book, remember, It was closed here, in Revelation the 5th chapter, and in Revelation the 10th chapter It is opened. And now we’re going to see what the Book says about how It become open. And is not made known until the Lamb takes the Book, and breaks the Seals, and opens the Book. See? The Lamb has got to take the Book.

5. THE UNVEILING OF GOD — 1964-06-14

Told us the day before, Brother Banks Wood and them, when He said, “Take up this rock, throw it up in the air, and say, ‘THUS SAITH THE LORD! You will see it right away.’” And I picked up the rock, up on top the mountain, threw it up in the air, and the…course, coming down, it started the whirlwind, see, the suction of it. You have to do something to cause something to follow it. Jesus took a piece of bread and broke it, then multiplied from that piece of bread. He took water, poured it into a pitcher. Elijah took salt, put it in a cruse; cut down a stick, throwed it on the water. It’s something to symbolize. And picking up this rock and throwing it into the air, and coming down started the whirlwind. The next day, why, there was a minister with us on a hunting trip. He was standing close, and he said to me, “Does the Lord give visions out like this, Brother Branham?” I said, “Yes, but I usually come out here to rest.” And just then the vision came. And Brother Borders, I think he’s outside now, he was along. Brother Banks Wood, I think, and, oh, several was up there, eight or ten. And Brother Banks Wood watching for this. Right on the mountain, right across from, exactly, about one half mile where the seven Angels appeared, that I left here to go there for, that come back and told the…about the Seven Seals. Just about a half a mile from that.

  • ¶272–¶275 As Doctor Lee Vayle is writing this famous book, I want you to see it after a while. Brother Vayle is here, is on the grounds somewhere. I seen him outside. I don’t think he can get in. But he’s writing a book there, and—and is very astounding, of the Laodicean Age. And I want you…It’ll be off of presses pretty soon. So, we’re taking the last reading of it now. And was writing, and we was discussing It in there, see, about… Everyone has always come to me, said, “Brother Branham, them seven thunders that the voice thundered, and He said, ‘Write It not, see, but close It up,’” said, “that’ll be seven thunders that will be revealed in the last days, see, seven thunders that’ll tell us?” Now, don’t that sound real good? See? But watch what you’re talking about when you say that. He said, “See that you write It not.” See? These seven thunders utter their voices, see, and He said, “Don’t write that, see, but It’s to be sealed up in the Book until the last days.” Now someone has been, many has been saying to me, and theologians said, “Brother Branham, if the Lord God…” Said, “If— if…With your experience, that the Lord has given you for His people,” humbly saying this, said, “you would be eligible to write a—a Bible yourself, your Word, if God has manifested.” I said “That might be true.” See, he was trying to catch me. See? I said, “But, you see, I couldn’t do that.” He said, “Why couldn’t you? You have all the qualifications.”

It’ll stay right with the Word; blinding some, and open the eyes of others. It’ll always do that. “Ye are written epistles, read of all men.” Or, you are…I translate That, turn around this a way, see, just turn It around, “You are epistles that has been written,” ’cause you can’t add nothing to It, “that’s read of all men; manifested Word of God,” in other words. And Peter and John, to show it, when they went up there, they perceived they were ignorant and unlearned, they had no education, but they taken notice they had been with Jesus. See? They were ignorant and unlearned, but they were written epistles, see, read that they had been with Jesus. Cause, Jesus was manifesting Himself through them, Christ veiled in their flesh; manifested, made alive. Like He was in Moses. When the Word was in Moses, he was God in flesh. When It was in Jesus, It was God in flesh. See? Only thing He done was change His mask, not His Word, not His nature. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He only changed His form. He changed from Noah to Moses; He changed from Moses to David; from David, Joseph; on down till He come into the fullness of the Godhead bodily. See?

6. THE FIRST SEAL — 1963-03-18

But now the Lamb is showing John, in the symbol of…of a—of a church scripture, like, for the church to know. What to write, He just show him. Said, “Now, don’t—don’t tell this, just what it is. Don’t go down, John, and say, ‘Now, this is just what this is, of what’s under this Seventh Seal.’ Don’t, don’t go down and tell that. For, if I tell John that, then all down through the age, the whole plan will be broke. It’s a secret.” See? He just wants…His Coming! He said, now, “And nobody is going to know when I’m coming. I’m just coming.” See? See? That’s all. It ain’t for my business to know when. I’ll just be ready, you see. So then he said… Now John went forth, he thought, “I’m going to see It now.”

And he had…The Lord just blessed him on. He said, “I know you say you don’t preach doctrine, Brother Branham; only to your congregation.” Said, “We’re part of your congregation.” So that was right cute in him, to say that.

There was a whole lot of machines, lathes there turning this stuff, and all at once, while he was telling me, explaining it all to me, we was standing up high, and just then a little bell rung, every man laid up his apron and begin to sweep the—the shavings down in the middle of the floor. I said, “What are they doing that for?” He said, “Reverend Branham, I’ll show you something in a few minutes.” I said, “All right.” He swept it all out in the middle of the aisle, each man, waited just a few minutes, another little whistle, “Toot!   • ¶32–¶37 Then, that sets a man across the chasm again, as a son of God. See? And then he—then he becomes a—a…Why, even he…The creative power of God is in him. And, at least, whenever God can command it to be done, it’ll be done. And we get back. That when the—the… Moses, under the blood of bulls, and when he met that Light, the Pillar of Fire in that burning bush, and he stood down there on a commission God had give him, and he was a prophet, and when the Word of the Lord came to him, he spoke, and even things created by the Word. See? Now, if it’ll do that under that, the blood of bulls, what about the Blood of Jesus? Not covered; but remitted it, altogether. And you stand in the Presence of God, as a redeemed son. Now, see, the Church is far beyond its standard of living. And I think, too many times, we are progging instead of really coming out and facing the issue. I got something I want to say, and I—I will at the time. And now notice that there is something wrong somewhere in the churches. And I think it’s the denominational systems that’s twisted the people’s minds, and so forth, until they don’t know how to do it. That’s right. But we’re promised that It would be revealed. And now there is Seven Seals that this Book is sealed with. And those Seven Seals now… And then after these Seven Seals are completed, we find, in Revelation 10, there was seven mysterious Thunders that John was commissioned to write, but then forbidden to write those. And at the time of those Thunders, we find Christ, or, “The Angel come down with a rainbow, and put His feet on the land and sea, and swore that time had run out, at that time.”

Now from this first row right here…Brother Charlie, I wonder if you brethren, David and you, if you want to come up here, or move kind of back towards the back? All right. Now the first ones here in this row, just raise up like that; just start from that side, over and against the wall, as we pray, now, when we get ready to start. Now, not yet. Then when this side over here, we’ll have you all to go back to this side; and then, and then come on out to that side, and then come down. Now the trustees and them will get you in the right position.

All the skies were brassy, the corn was all withered up, we hadn’t had rain for three weeks or more. Oh, it was suffering, the crops was. And the sky was like brass. And I took this young fellow, and I said to him, “Do you believe on the Lord Jesus, and have you accepted Him as your personal Saviour?” He said, “I have, Brother Branham.” I said, “I seen you at the altar the other night. Now, are you sure of this, young man?” He said, “I am sure.” So then, I took him by the hand, and turned his face to the bank, and announced his name, and asked God that He would bless his life. And I was just ready to baptize him, when I heard Something say, “Look up!” Well, I got scared, I thought somebody on the bank was saying it, I was just a boy preacher. I had never been married yet, my to-be-wife was taking pictures on the bank, which is my son Billy’s mother. And I heard it again, and up to the third time, said, “Look up!” And when I looked up towards the heavens, a place about ten feet square looked like water in the blue skies moving around. And out of that blue-water-like, came a Light coming down from Heaven. The people begin to screaming, many fainted.

And she said, “Very well.” And I told her the story that was told me by the vision. She said, “I know who you are,” she said, “You’re that Mr. Branham that’s down here in that armory building.” I said, “Yes, ma’am, I am.” She said, “I passed by your meeting the other night, I couldn’t get in.” She said, “Mr. Branham, I’m beyond hopes.” She said, “My father was a Methodist preacher, I got two daughters that’s Methodist Sunday school teachers.” I said, “What happened?” She told me the story. She said, “There’s not a hope for me.”

17. IN HIS PRESENCE — 1962-09-09

It’s a grand privilege to be back here in this building again tonight, and feeling the never-failing Presence of our Lord, as He’s give the promise. And now, I know that many of you has stayed over for the little Message tonight, for which I am very thankful. And many of you has to drive far yet tonight, to get home. Some are checked out of your motels, as I understand. And we are going to try not to hold you long, so that’s the reason we come in early so we could get away early. And now we will, just as soon as I can, I will announce when we are going to maybe start, I’ve had some calls this afternoon, knowing when we was going to start on these books, or this chapters. And I think, if the Lord willing, I want to take, the next time that we start, on the Seven Seals of Revelation, and the seven natural seals. And, then if we get through in time, take the seven seals on the back of the Book, see. Now, that may take a little time. See, there’s seven seals that’s opened; there’s seven plagues, seven trumpets, all those sevens; and them seals we could take first. But then on the back of the Book is sealed with seven seals. Daniel heard the voices, the thunders, and was forbidden to write it. John was forbidden to write it. But it was sealed on the backside of the Book, that is, after all of the mysteries of the Book has been given out and revealed. You notice Daniel said there, “The mysteries in the days of these voices, the mystery of God should be unfolded by that time.” See, “the mystery,” who God is, how He was made flesh, all these things should be unfolded by that time. And then— then we’re ready for the Seven Seals on the backside of the Book, that’s not even revealed to man, not even wrote in the Bible, but they’ll have to be just exactly compare with the rest of the Bible, and I think it’ll be a great thing.

18. A MAN RUNNING FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD — 1965-02-17

And Brother Roy Roberson, all of us know him here. He’s not here tonight, as I know of; he’s in Arizona out there. He’s the chairman of the trustees here, and I knowed him being a veteran. And something was going to happen; a real pretty, still morning, about ten o’clock in the morning. The boys all around there, ten or twelve of us, letting down tents, and skinning out pigs, and things. So we…I walked around, I said, “Roy, hide, quick. Something is fixing to happen.” I couldn’t tell him no more. But just the time I got over there… And coming down from the heavens come the whirlwind of God, and clapped, like, shook the hills, running inside of that mountain, cut a streak plumb around it, about five feet above my head, and cut all the tops of them trees off, as the rocks went out. Went up in the air and come down again, with another big baptism, and struck across the mountain, and throwed the rocks out like that. Did it three times, and then went up in the air. And Brother Banks come over to me, said, “That’s what you said yesterday?” I said, “Yes, sir, that’s exactly it.” See?

How, standing up on top the hill, men, three or four of them standing right here present now, yes, more than that. Going up the hill, the Holy Spirit said, “Pick up that rock.” We were hunting. He said, “Throw it up in the air, and say, ‘THUS SAITH THE LORD.’” I did. Down from there come a little funnel of wind. I said, “Within twenty-four hours, you’ll see the hand of God.” Men setting right here present now. The next day, about ten o’clock, standing there, I said, “Get ready. Get under the car there,” a veteran. I said, “Something is fixing to happen.” It was a clear sky, right up in a big canyon. Down come a whirling Fire from Heaven, just as hard as It could scream, hit the walls like that. I—I was standing right under It. I took off my hat, held my head. It come about three feet or four feet above me, and cut a ditch plumb around that wall like that, and blasted. And went back up in the air, and whirled around again, and come down, three times, even had cut the tops of mesquite bushes out, for two hundred yards. Hear them fellows saying, “Amen”? They were there when it happened, see, and made three blasts. When they got out from under the cars and everything, come back over, said, “That would hit you, there wouldn’t been a greasy spot.”

I never have said nothing yet, from the platform, under inspiration that I ever had to take back. Now you can call that, Seed Of The Serpent, or whatever you wish to, whatever them Messages was, or, The Great Harlot, that so much kick is against. Just come, and…Why don’t you come to me with the Scriptures, with it? See? See whether it’s right. This man come up there, put his arms around me, and was going to say…He said, “Brother Branham, not to be sacrilegious, but that could have made the 23rd chapter of Revelation. You know, another Book added. Of course,” he said, “that wouldn’t be right, of course, we’re not supposed to add anything to It.” And just as he started to say that, he started speaking in tongues. And the boy didn’t know what speaking in tongues meant. And as soon as he did, right out in front of me was a French woman, from Louisiana, she said, “That needed no interpretation. That was pure French.” And a man over here got up and said, “That’s right.” And way back in the back was the interpreter for the UN, give his name, never been there before. He said, “Correctly. That’s right.”

22. THE QUEEN OF SHEBA — 1960-01-10

  • ¶26–¶29 I believe Paul was a fundamentalist. You know where I think he got that in the Scripture? Where Elisha sent, or, Elijah, sent the staff with his servant, Gehazi, and said, “Lay it on the baby.” Elijah knew that everything he touched was blessed. And so he, the staff that he would—he would walk with, he said, “Go lay that on the baby.” But the woman’s faith wasn’t in the staff, it was in the prophet, so she wouldn’t leave him until the prophet laid his own body on the baby, and the baby come to life. It depends on where your faith lays. But in the handkerchiefs, I remember in South Africa at the last trip at Cape Town, and I was there, and I believe it was ten or fourteen sackfuls of handkerchiefs and letters; and they was great, what we call, grass sacks, burlap sacks. And the writer at the paper said, “Brother Branham is superstitious, he was praying over handkerchiefs.” Just not knowing the Scripture, of course. But we’re glad to pray over these, and if you don’t—do not have one up here, and you’re on outside of the building, or anything, if you wish me to pray over one, just write me. 23. CHRIST IS THE MYSTERY OF GOD REVEALED — 1963-07-28

  • ¶204–¶207 Because, the Bible is written in mysteries. Jesus thanked the Father for it, see, that It was wrote in mysteries. Now, the Coming of the Lord is in mystery. We don’t know when He’s coming, how He’s coming, but we know He is coming. See? And so was all the mysteries of God waiting for this last day. After it’s already been completed, then He reveals and shows what He’s done. Oh, my! Never gave His mystery in full. It’s just like this, comparing the Seven Seals. Now, when God used Martin Luther for the coming out for that first church or that church age, and when He used John Wesley, and He gradually brought them out, and was revealing in them that church age. When we…when it goes back through the Bible now and find out. But in the last days, the reason that was such a tremendous thing, that He spoke of it here and showed those Seven Thunders. And Look and Life ma-… Life magazine then packed that Circle of a Cloud and Light there that they could not understand, and don’t know it yet. But here telling, “Go there and wait for these mysteries to be revealed,” and here months before it happened, and then it happened at exactly the way He said it would do. Did you notice in that picture? Even that Angel on the right, when he was being materialized, coming down, with his wings back and his head setting sideways, there it is right there in the picture, just exactly. Months before it happened, told here, that, “He’s going to bring the Body of believers together; to reveal, take up them lost ends.”
