¶1–¶7 Thank you, very much, Brother Neville. May be seated. I believe it was said once, that, “I was happy when they said unto me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord.’” Now, we are sorry that we don’t have room, or seating room, for all that are present, and perhaps will grow through the coming week, of people coming in, hearing of the meeting. But the reason for this special time was that we would…Upon my heart the Holy Spirit had laid this warning of conviction, that, “The Church in this day should have this Message.” Because, I believe that it is the most outstanding Messages of the Bible, because it reveals Christ in His Church at this time. Then, no one can have faith or know what they’re doing, or where they’re going, unless they have some, something to base their thoughts and faith upon. Therefore, if the Scripture has revealed Christ to us in these last days, and the condition of time, it would do us good to—to search It and find out where we’re at. Now, we’re—we’re sorry that our church is not larger, someday we’re hoping to have it. And these last four days, especially, studying for this upon the historical part of the—of the Book of Revelation, I have run into things that I never thought was really ever happened. And it’s even brought to me a—a feeling that, after this Seven Church Ages, I have been through that, I would like to have another such series of bringing up “the— the true Church and the false church,” together, and just through the history and Scripture. As one time I endeavored, on a sermon, to take “the true Vine and the false vine,” found in the Bible. And we are…
¶8–¶11a We’re going to try to get some chairs, while I’m thinking of the people trying to be seated. And we’re going to get, try to get, some more chairs, to try to fill up the rooms back here, and out, and some more around, so that we can seat a few more people during the services. Now, on this, I would ask each one of you who are really concerned about these things, would—would come every time that we are going to—to explain It. And I would not undertake, or did I think myself… [Blank spot on tape—Ed.]…undertake to…[Blank spot on tape.]… this great Book of the Revelation of…[Blank spot on tape.]…Seven Church Ages. But I am depending solemnly upon God, for—for to reveal it to me just as I come to it. The natural history, which is of the…taken from the most outstanding historians that I know of. I have laying in my study room, right now, about five or six commentaries, Hislop’s Two Babylons, Foxe’s Book Of The Martyrs, and other great books; like the Pre-Nicene Council, about four books on that, around four hundred pages in each book. And there the Nicene Council, and all the history that we can. Because, behind this, from the magnetic tape, we’re going to write a commentary on the Seven Church Ages, to send to all the world, that we can, because we are in the last days. We are at the end time. It never dawned upon my heart so much until the—the last election, and then I seen where we were at. Then the Holy Spirit begin to reveal to me, to—to warn the people, and to place this. And I cannot do it in a—a church like this, sufficiently. And then if I set down and just wrote the book…I feel that if I got to the pulpit, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit amongst the Christians came upon me, to help me, then I would be more sufficient to write the book then, after I took it off the tape, because there we’d get the inspiration of it. The books, of course, will be kind of straightened up a little, because, in here, we put things in that we could not put in the book.
¶11b–¶15 And then we…And we take too much time on repeating ourselves, or I do. And then, in the book, it’ll all be straightened out. But we’re going to try to get it all, as much as we can, on tapes. Now, the tapes, each night, literature and so forth, the boys will have it just out the building there. Now, I may not be able each night, as we have taken upon ourselves to try for the glory of God, to—to bring these seven church Messages, or Seven Church Ages, in seven nights; taking each night, an age. Like, Monday night, Ephesus; Tuesday night, Smyrna; Wednesday night, Pergamos; Thursday night, Thyatira; Friday night, Sardis; and Saturday night, Philadelphia; and Sunday morning and Sunday night, the Laodicean, the church age that we’re living in. Giving the historical of the original church, and the—and the writers and the historians, and the angels of that age, and—and the messages, and the run of the church, as it’s come down through to this time. And it’s amazing to see how every prediction of that Scripture hits solid with history, just exactly, to the thought of it. It even amazed me so much, till, yesterday, I had read till felt like my eyes were swelling out. And I come out and I said to wife, “I have never dreamed of it being that way.” See? How great it was! And now, sometime, I may not be able to get it all over in one night, the church, the message to the church. And if I cannot get it over, at night, then the next morning at ten o’clock. Will be announced each night, to those who wants to come and listen at the rest of it, ’cause we’re going, try, get it on the tape. I will have services then from ten o’clock, at morning, on till noon, in the daytime, to try to get it out, the rest of the message, ’cause they can catch it on the tape. Not…
¶67–¶69 As I have said before, now, in this we’re going to try to give a little breakdown now of the Book, according to the histories and so forth. And each time when you see me referring to pages that I have written here, it’s stuff that I have taken from commentaries and so forth. Now, the writer of this Book is John, Saint John the divine, wrote to the future generation (A). (B) Directed to the seven angels of the seven distinct periods of the Christian age, a age from the days of the apostles to the Coming of the Lord. And the…now, the ages appear in succession, each one, from the ascension of our Lord to His Coming again. Each church age is described of its spiritual condition. (E) Each church age can behold itself by its Scriptural and spiritual speaking unto them. As the Spirit speaks, each age can behold itself. Each age bore the true Vine of Christ, the Wise virgin. And each age bore the grafted vine, the foolish virgin. Historians agree, this is John’s life. John lived the last of his years in the city of Ephesus and died there. He was on the isle of Patmos, at the time he wrote the Book, Revelation. It was not the story of his life, but the story of Christ in future ages. See? It was a prophecy. Not the life of John, not the life of Christ, but prophesying of an age to come. It was not his prophetic utterances; but, the Lord’s exaltations, solemnly. It was not the Revelation of Saint John the divine, but the Revelation of Christ the Lord.
¶70–¶76 It is the last Book of the New Testament, yet it tells the beginning and the end of the dispensation of the Gospel. Got Bible scholars agreeing. The letters to the seven church ages were written, prophetically, to the future ages. Paul wrote of the life and glory of the seven churches present in his day. John wrote of the life and glory of the seven churches in the future, that John was addressing the seven pastors or messengers as directly all Christians under these seven different angels. Now, the Book of Revelation, now we’re going to take, as we break this down for this morning and this evening. And we’ll try to let out about eleven o’clock and eleven-thirty, something like that, and then begin again tonight at seven. Now the contents of this 1st chapter. The 1st verse, it—it really speaks for Itself, because it is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. 2nd verse, Saint John the divine is the scribe and servant. 3rd verse, the blessings pronounced. The 4th through the 6th verse, the salute to the church. The 7 verse, the announcement. The 8th verse, the supreme Deity of Jesus Christ. The 9th to the 20 verse, the Patmos vision. And, also, the 14th and 15th verses describes His sevenfold glory of His Person. Oh, it’s beautiful when we see Christ in His sevenfold personages of hi-…sevenfold beings of His personages, in His glorious resurrection. Now, the title describes the character. The Revelation of Jesus Christ,… Not the revelation of Saint John the divine, but the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
¶99–¶103 Therefore, when we see the manifold Revelation of our Lord, who He is, what He is, if any person shall add something to That or take anything away from It, it’s a false prophecy. Many have tried to say they had something later than That. But That is the complete Revelation of the Lord Jesus in His church age and in His Day, a Revelation of our Lord. Now—now, unveiling, the Greek word, something that’s been hid, unreve-…“revealing” Christ. Now, the next verse, we find, in the 2nd verse. The 1st verse is unveiling Christ, the Revelation, or the uncovering. Oh! How the last age and the Coming of the Lord was un-…was covered up, to the apostles! They asked the question, but only one lived to have the Revelation. And still, he didn’t understand it, because the history was not yet made. Now, the history of this Book, or the—the context of this Book, was directed to the seven churches in Asia Minor, that then was. It was directed to those seven churches. There were more churches than those seven, at that day. But each one of those churches was significant about the characteristic in that church, that would follow it down through the age, the characteristic of that church. Like of Ephesus, it had a characteristic. Smyrna, Pergamos, and on down, Philadelphia, each one of those churches had a characteristic in it, that would appear again in the ages to come. Oh! If you could only… Any man can see the—the spiritual application of the Scriptures and could say that they wasn’t inspired? Your very action, the very motive, the very objectives of the people, why, it proves that the Scripture is inspired, to see how God applies those things. Just what you do, here, is a type of something.
¶157–¶161 Now, from 4 to 6 is a salute to the Church. Now we want to take on this 4th and 6th. Now, before we strike it, I want everybody to try to think hard now. What is It now? It is the revelation of Jesus Christ, where God took the veil off of the time. Here is time, that Jesus couldn’t see when He was here on earth, the church ages, what would take place. So, God took the veil away, pulled it back, and let John look in and see what each church age was going to do, and wrote it in a book and sent it to the seven churches. What is it? Christ revealed in the days of His—His action. It’s full of action, the Book is. And it’s a—a prophetic Book that Christ has give, God has give to us by His angel, wrote by John. And a blessing to everybody that’ll read It or hear It read, for the—for the time is at hand when this is all fulfilled. Got a good setting now. And remember, we’re keeping the Church in mind. Over on one side, the Church began; over on the other side, the church ends. More into it, Monday night, when we hit the church ages. John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is,…which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before the throne. Now we’re getting into the mysterious and deep parts of the symbols. It’s addressed to the seven churches which are in Asia Minor. They had—they had…The—the ages, at that time, was to come in the future. And he exalted them and—and praised them for their work and what they had done. But, now, it’s addressed to them churches, the seven churches which are in Asia Minor.

¶25–¶30 And, oh, how I wish now we was starting in for about a three- months’ teaching service, so you could get into the Book of Revelation and tie it in with Daniel, the great vision. How many is left, in the little flock here, that used to remember when I had the old chart across here? I know Brother Head was, and we had several of you here when I had the old chart. Now, the Book of Revelation, how It’s made up. And Daniel ties in with It. Isaiah ties in with It. All the Old Testament ties in with It. And It’s the Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ. See? The Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ. And then, in there, there is Seven Churches, Seven Plagues, Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets. Now, a trumpet represents war; a seal, a mystery re-…unfolding; and a plague is what follows every war. And by God’s help, and with the book of history, I can prove to you that we’re living at the Seventh Trumpet, for the Seventh Plague, and the Seventh Seal to be opened, and the Seventh Vial to be poured out. When the sixth one sound; we’ll get on that, maybe, the sealing away, on Friday night. When the First World War, why, the…that Sixth Trumpet sounded according, exactly according to the time God spoke of it. Exactly, geographically, following the seal before that. And when the mystery was revealed in there, for the baptism of the Holy Ghost; and the—and the people then, how the church did not move up; and those who were moving refused to walk in Light, and went back. And the plague was opened at that time, and poured out upon the earth, which was influenza, that killed all the people as it did, the thousands times thousands.
¶216–¶218 “In His hand He held seven stars.” And you’ll see in a few minutes; I want to get to it, let the Bible just speak what it was. It was the seven ministers, one minister to each age of these Seven Church Ages, coming out, hold them in His right hand. Amen. There He is. There was seven angels, seven messengers, one to each church. Get it? There, He’s standing there. …and out of his mouth goes a sharp twoedged sword:… What is a sharp two-edged sword? Hebrews the 4th chapter, said, “The Word of God is sharper, more powerful than a twoedged sword, even going to the marrow of the bone, and a Discerner of the thoughts of the mind.” All right. And when I saw him, I fell on my…I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand on me, saying…Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and I have the keys of hell and…death. (That’s Jesus. Now watch.) Write these things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and these things which shall be hereafter; (All right.) And the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, are…hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are seven angels of the seven churches:… Ooh! Hold that. “Seven angels are seven ministers of the seven churches.” There was a church of the leader, of Ephesus. Now if God would permit, and we would continue on with this, and not take The Mark Of The Beast, I can show you every one of them, right down to this last age, which way—which way they was; show you the Philadelphian Church, which was the Methodists, John Wesley; show you the—the Church Thyatira, immediately after Pergamos; which was the Martin Luther, and go right on down the age, and show each one of them that come and brought the message, established the message in the earth.
¶223–¶228 But, listen, another Scripture comes to me. Daniel said…When He said, “Close…” When he seen this Angel come down, with a rainbow over His head; put one foot on the land, and one on the sea; and held up His hands, and swore by Him that lives from ever and ever. When those seven voices uttered their…The Seven Thunders uttered their voices. He said, “Seal it; not known until the last day.” He said, “But the time this mystery of God should be finished, when these will be revealed to the Church; and swore by Him that lives forever and ever, that time should be no more.” Listen what He said there then. He said, “Go thy way, Daniel, shut up the Book.” See? “For thou shall rest, and you shall stand in the last days, in your lot. But many of those who turn many to righteousness shall outshine the stars forever and forever.” There you are, “stars,” those seven ministers. Seven ministers, through Seven Church Ages, which consists of two thousand years. From the first two-thousand years, the antediluvian destruction; second two-thousand years, the first coming of Christ; the third two- thousand years, the sixth, is the second Coming of Christ; and the Millennium, and the end, the seventh-day rest. “Unto the church…” Oh, will you bear with me just a few minutes longer? [Congregation says, “Yes.”—Ed.] Now, I don’t want to wear you out, but I’ll read right fast now. “Unto the angel…” Now watch, He’s addressing this directly now. And we’ll go over to Pergamos and get the last of it then…I mean, to the Laodicean, and then we’ll close. Tomorrow night we’ll pick up from here, on The Mark Of The Beast. Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus…(The first.)
¶282–¶285 Be with the people as they go to their homes. Remember the needy, O God, the poor in our land, the poor in spirit, those that are hungering. God, raise up ministers, everywhere. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, and send them forth, preaching, Lord, like firebrands. We don’t know what hour…We only pass this way once. We’re only mortal once, and thanks be to God for that. But, the next life, we’ll not preach the Gospel in the next life that is to come; but we’ll rejoice in the Gospel, with them of the ages who has accepted It; with the Head Captain, our Lord Jesus Who is all worthy, and all praise be to Him for ever and ever. Amen. God bless you. Turn and shake hands with each other, while we sing Blest Be The Tie That Binds, if you will. Blest be the tie that binds Our hearts in Christian love; The fellowship of kindred minds Is like to that Above. Before our Father’s Throne, Now, shake hands with each other. It’s just ten minutes, the time, for the lights now is on relay. You all shake hands, go home, rejoice, and come back tomorrow night. At seven-thirty, exactly, we’ll begin the service, God willing. How wonderful…?…

¶1–¶4 Good evening, friends. It’s a—a great privilege to be back here in the house of the Lord, tonight, in the service, and still living on the—the manna from this morning, that our souls were so greatly blessed by His great Presence. And now, tonight, we are have a… starting on the subject of: The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals. And I was just speaking, this afternoon, to a friend. And maybe, the Lord willing, sometime this summer, if He doesn’t take me Home, or— or, I get to come back, don’t go overseas or something, I would like to strike again at the seven last Trumpets, see. And it all bridges together. And—and then there’s the seven last Plagues in this. And it all blends right together, as we’ll see as we go along. So, tonight, while we’re kind of getting quietened…I may be just a little lengthy tonight. With even…As soon as I get back here, now… All the preaching I done in Phoenix, I never one time even got hoarse, see. That’s right. And, oh, my, how hard I preached! And for, I believe, it was twenty-seven services, without getting hoarse. But it’s the climate here, you see. Just simply, it’s just bad right here, just a valley. It’s just a bad condition back here, and, of healthy, you know, what I mean, it’s— it’s—it’s bad. And any preacher has a…that speaks, has a bad throat, to begin with. A—a doctor friend of mine looked into my throat, one time, to see what was wrong. Said, “Nothing.” Said, “You just got calluses on your vocal chords there.” Said, “That’s from preaching.” Well, I—I—I kind of like that, you know. That made me feel better, as long as it could be applied to preaching, you see. It would be all right, for the Kingdom of God.
¶21–¶24 So now be in prayer. Now, just before we approach the Book, let’s talk to Him, with our heads bowed. Lord Jesus, we are altogether insufficient. We would not try, by no means, to approach this sacred Book, in this most holy hour which souls hang in the destination of time, without asking, Lord, that, the only One that can reveal this Book, that He come forward now, blessing the feeble efforts of Thy servant’s. Bless the Word as It goes forth. May It go in the power of the Spirit. And may the spiritual ground of the… those who are hungering and thirsting to know righteousness and to know the will of God, may It fall in there and bring forth of Its kind. Grant it, Lord. All praise shall be Thine. May the hungry and the thirsty find food and drink, tonight, from the Word. We ask it in Jesus’ Name, of Whom the revelation is of. Amen. Now, now we’re going to turn to the 5th chapter. Now, this is not the Seven Seals. It is the breach between the church ages and the Seven Seals. Now, there is also a 6th chapter of… And there was a 4th chapter, rather, of Revelation, and, in that, it kind of revealed something that would take place after the Church going up. That, the Church goes up on the 3rd chapter of Revelation, and does not return until the 19th chapter of Revelation. See? Therefore, the Church misses the Tribulation. I know that’s contrary to—to pretty near every teacher I ever talked to. But I—I—I don’t mean to be disagreeable. I—I mean to be your brother, but I—I must teach just as I can see It. If I don’t, I can’t put It together, you see. And now, whether It goes up before the Tribulation or after the Tribulation, I want to go up with It. That’s the main thing.
¶38–¶41 Now, these points will be important in the Seals, I’m sure, ’cause It must, every bit, tie together. THE BREACH BETWEEN AND THE… Now, It’s wrote mysterious, because no man nowhere knows It, God alone, Jesus Christ, see. Now, but is…It is a Book, a mysterious Book, It’s the Book of Redemption. We’ll get into that in a little while. And now we know that this Book of Redemption will not be thoroughly understood, It’s progged at through six church ages, but at the end when the seventh angel begins to sound his mystery, he winds up all of the loose ends that these fellows progged at, and the mysteries comes down from God, as the Word of God, and reveals the entire revelation of God, then the Godhead and everything else is settled. All the mysteries, serpent’s seed, and whatever more, is to be revealed. Now, you see, I’m just not making that up. That’s what…It’s THUS SAITH THE LORD. I’ll read It to you out of the Book, “The sounding of the seventh angel’s Message, the mystery of God should be finished, that’s been declared by His holy prophets,” that’s the prophets who has wrote the Word. At the sounding, of the seventh church age, the last church age, all the loose ends, that through these church ages has been progged at, will be wound up together. And when the Seals are broke, and the mystery is revealed, down comes the Angel, the Messenger, Christ, setting His foot upon the land and upon the sea, with a rainbow over His head. Now, remember, this seventh angel is on earth at the time of this Coming.
¶229–¶235a Now He comes to take His Bride. Amen. He comes now as King. He is looking for His Queen. Amen. Amen. In this Book is the whole secret of It, wrapped up around, Seven Seals. Oh, brother! Seven Seals, waiting for Him to come. Notice. Let’s get these symbols. Well, it’s just nine o’clock. We got three hours or more, to go. We got…let’s just…Satan keep telling me them people is getting tired, so I guess they are. But let—let’s take this, anyhow. “Seven horns” was the seven churches, see, the seven church ages, because that was the Lamb’s protection. What He protected His rights with on earth was a God-sent Group of people that protected; see, the horn on the Lamb. “Seven eyes” are the seven messengers of the seven church ages. “Seven eyes,” seven seers. Would you like to write down some Scripture? Let’s just turn to it. What do you say, you got that much time? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] All right. Let’s go to Zechariah, the Book of— of Zechariah, just a little bit, and we’ll—we’ll read some of this. I—I don’t want to keep you too long on these things. And— and I…But, yet, I don’t want you to miss it. What’s any more important than this? Yeah. What’s more…[A brother says, “Brother Branham?”—Ed.] What? [“You don’t measure that.”] Nothing more important than Eternal Life to a person. And we must—we must get this now, and—and be sure that we get it. All right. All right, sir. And now we want to read Zechariah the 3rd chapter. I think that’s right, now, Zechariah 3. We’re just going to get these symbols here, if I’ve got my Scriptures wrote down. I was just shouting all over the place, this afternoon, when I hit this. So I—I just don’t know whether I got it right, or not. I hope I have. Zechariah 3, let’s see if it’s…I got 89 here, but it must be 8 to 9. All right. All right. I know it can’t be 89. Zechariah 3:8 and 9. Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit with thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH (Christ).
¶327–¶330 Do you love Him? Isn’t He wonderful? Oh, what would we do without This? “Man shall not live by bread alone; but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God, shall man live.” Oh, feed me, Lord, upon the Word. “Forsaking not to assemble yourselves together, as the manner of unbelievers, and that much more as you see the Day approaching.” God willing, tomorrow night, by the grace of God, I’ll try, with all that’s in me, to ask Him to interce-…intercede, that the mystery of THE BREACH BETWEEN AND THE… 45 these Seals, as they break forth, will proclaim the Word of God to the people. Until I meet you, God be with you! And now I turn the service to our noble brother, Brother Neville, the pastor. How many loves Brother Neville? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Now, we all do. Come forward, Brother Neville. Brother Neville, God bless you, brother.

¶36–¶40a Now, I begin to notice at the preaching of the Seven Church Ages, which is the—the pattern, or the forecast of all that God was going to do for the churches, and through the churches, and positionally setting them up. The first three chapters of the Book of Revelation reveals all the happenings unto the Church. Then, from the 3rd chapter unto the 19th chapter of Revelation, there is no more seen of the Church. The Church goes up at the 4th chapter of Revelation, and returns back at the 19th chapter of Revelation, the Bride and the Groom, together, coming to the earth. And then from the 19th chapter to the conclusive of the 22nd chapter, it’s all on the Millennium and what will be in the years that is to follow it. During the 4th to the 19th, God is dealing with Israel. Now, then, when we got finished with the book of the revelation of the church, what God did to those seven churches, which were then in their infancy, or their shadow, in Asia Minor. Then the Holy Spirit revealed and opened to us all the mysteries in There, of how He has brought His Church through history. And if you don’t have The Seven Church Ages on tape, it would be good if you listened to them. And soon they’ll be in book form. Then just leaving it at that, and presuming that after a while we would preach on the Seals, not knowing what the Seals was. I had my own idea, as every minister does, of reading maybe what other men had said; and believing as much as I possible, with them, on the things that they had drawed up, their conclusion. I had read the book of Mr. Smith, Uriah Smith, which is the Adventist teacher, and I had read his—his thoughts on it. And I had read Mr. Larkin. I had read, oh, so many different ones, of their commentaries on This. But, somehow or other’n, I thought I had a—a little view of it, myself, that might be of places different. But trying one time, just speaking three subjects, the first…or the four subjects of the four horse riders.
¶44–¶47 Then when I come to this part here, of preaching the Seven Trumpets, I was thought, “Well, I’ll not try to think anything. I’ll just wait till that time and let Him reveal it to me.” And then yesterday when I was…I went into the room and wondering why…Or, beg your pardon, it was day before yesterday. When I went into the room, to try to understand, it was there that the Holy Spirit opened up this, to show me the reason it not profitable even for the Church at this time, ’cause it has nothing to do with the Church, at all. Now, the hidden mysteries of Christ was fully revealed in the Seven Seals. It revealed, first, the Seven Church Ages, opened up the ages and placed them positionally, both with history and with the Bible, and set them in position, how they was. And we found ourself in the last church age, being the Laodicea Church Age, which was the most corruptible of all the church ages. Even from the very first, from Ephesians, was a great church age. And then how, here, the Holy Spirit giving me a vision, and seeing what would take place, I drawed on the blackboard, two years ago. Here it is up here on the drawing, that how that the Light was fading off of the earth, which would be exactly the way that the Light come on the earth, as the Gospel, and how It would fade in and out. Not knowing it, at the time, what it meant and how it would be.
Chunks:
¶40–¶42 And we hope to get the church up, so I can get these Church Ages in, before—before the winter sets in, if possible. If I don’t, or when I have to come back from over there, if the Lord Jesus tarries. I was listening yesterday when I was taking, believe it was day before yesterday, of a tape. I thought I heard it playing out here this morning. Some little Southern brother had…His mother had come into the meeting. She had a malignancy on her breast, and she was shadowed to death. And the Holy Spirit, in one of the recent meetings, at the Southern Pines, I believe it was, or somewhere, told her, said about her malignancy, and who she was, and where she come from. And said she had a boy that was a backslider, and he was going to have an accident, and be for manslaughter. And a whole lot of things like that. And this fellow… It all happened just the way. And her malignant cancer, or malignant growth, rather, left her. Which is, malignant growth is a cancer, you know. So then it—it left her. And the boy was up for manslaughter, and everything just the way the Holy Spirit said it. And he was led to Christ, back again. And he made a tape of it, and I—I heard it playing. Did you enjoy that little, old Southern talk? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Said, “Down here in North Carolin’er,” he said. Oh, I just love that, them old Southern people. And he had…The Lord just blessed him on. He said, “I know you say you don’t preach doctrine, Brother Branham; only to your congregation.” Said, “We’re part of your congregation.” So that was right cute in him, to say that.
¶63–¶66 Now, thinking of moving forward, a battle, like a—a battle set in array, ready to go into action, a—a real battle, to fight the fight of faith. Sister Shepherd here, and Brother Shepherd, who are very gracious friends of ours, and who come to this tabernacle. And they are precious children of God. And—and this Sister Shepherd, when I was picking up my mail, the kind that Billy can answer, just somebody say, “Send me so many prayer clothes.” And I pray over them. He just answers them back. But when it’s an individual letter, I have to answer it myself, you see. So I picked up my individual mail, and so I was taking it home. And I was reading in there, it said, “From Sister Shepherd.” And it was a dream that she had had, of—of some months ago. And she never could get it just right until two or three Sundays ago, when I taught on this— this Seven Church Ages and—and the—the seven fruits, Second Peter, how it takes, Second Peter 1, “To add to our faith.” See? First, foundationally, is Faith. Second, add to your faith, virtue; to your virtue, knowledge; from knowledge, temperance; from temperance, patience; to patience, godliness; and from godliness, brotherly love, brotherly kindness; and then love, being the capstone. Seven of those things. Seven church ages, see, and seven stars of the church ages, and all of it is tempered together by the Holy Spirit. Now, that’s what it takes to become a servant of Christ. Christ builds His Church in seven church ages; His Bride, a Person, woman, Church. Seven church ages constitute and make the Bride. Some out of this age, and some out of that age, and some out of that age, and all together, and shaping it like a pyramid.

¶73–¶74 Now the salute. Now, the seven Spirits are…“The seven Spirits and the seven stars.” The Spirits was the angels that went to the stars which were messengers. “Seven Spirits,” seven different times the Holy Spirit would anoint a messenger, which was a star in his day. A—a Spirit is Eternal, and the star that was made for a purpose to reflect Light in the dark of these church ages where candles and stars are representing. The angel, the Spirit, was the one that went to the star and reflected the Light of the Holy Spirit through this star to that church age. That, you might know…wonder who the seven Spirits are. It’s the seven messengers of the seven church ages. See? Now, and each time that the star came in on the scene, the Holy Spirit came down and anointed that star and kept it just exactly like the first one was. Now let me—let me confirm that to you. Paul said, if you want to know what kind of a star it was. Because, remember, Satan is a star, too, star of the morning. Now notice, Paul said…Do you believe he was the star to the Ephesus church? He said, now, if you want to know whether It’s true or not. In Galatians 1:8, Paul said, speaking there, that after the time would come, and grievous wolves and so forth, he said, “If a angel come down from heaven and taught any other gospel…” (Now, he knowed this man was coming that looked like an angel and a big vicar.) He said, “No matter who it is, if any angel or anybody ever comes and teaches any other thing than this Gospel we’ve taught to you, let him be accursed.” Is that right?
¶75–¶77 Paul was the one who constrained them to be rebaptized if they hadn’t been baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, “Come and be baptized over again in order to receive the Holy Ghost,” Acts 19:5. He was also the one that laid hands on the people, and gifts, and set the church in order with working of miracles, Divine healing, gifts of tongues, interpretation of tongues. Is that right? First Corinthians 12, see what Paul said. First Corinthians 12, and you’ll find it. He set in the church…God set in the church these great gifts; and Paul set them If you notice this, this is wrote here. The writer knowed. Look, the “seven Spirits.” Watch: capital “S,” Holy Spirit, only one of them. Uh- huh. The same Holy Spirit coming seven times to all seven church ages bearing the same Light. Get it now? Seven church ages, seven times this Holy Spirit would carry this same Message! Which was pronounced a curse to anyone who’d change It. Now see if that bears with the revelation of the whole thing. He said, “Whosoever shall take away or add to, the same will be taken (his part) out of the Book of Life.” That’s the whole thing covered over then. So there’s no room for you to jump or squeeze any place else, see, ’cause that’s It. That’s what God said, that’s what the Spirit said, and that’s what the Churches said. Now, if you try to force in any other kind of a doctrine than what Paul taught, it’s wrong! The Bible is correct. His life…Jesus said, “I’ll take his part out of the Book of Life.”

¶1–¶5 All right. Now, as far as I’m concerned, it’d be better to turn it out. All right. We are so happy to be here again tonight in the service of the Lord. And last night I really felt the Millennium had come. And so now we got some, I believe some questions here, and I’ll put them in my pocket so…I—I guess this is prayer…to be prayed over it. And we’re… And I’ll try to answer the best that I—that I can. Say, if you’d tell Doc if he’d “turn that out,” that the…beaming right down here on me, so, I’m not under a spotlight. You know, I— I’m not one of these spotlight preachers. So be better just without it, I suppose. Last… I asked for it, Doc. I’m repenting, I—I’m repenting, you see. Oh, oh, what do you…? You have to turn up there and operate on it? [Brother Branham has a conversation with his brother, Doc—Ed.] Oh, well, just let it alone. Yeah. Well, just let it alone. Oh, no! Now, don’t you drop it. Yeah. Now I like that better. Sometime…And I don’t like a light just shining right in your face, you know. And—and it shine down this where I can see better. I thank you, sir. That’ll cost him. You know, you can’t get finished on these church ages. And today when I was studying on this one, I said to my wife, I said, “Oh, my! I— I got enough texts to preach fifty sermons right out of this one.” See? And they just…there’s no way to do it but just hit the highlights, and maybe when we write up the book then we’ll try to get more in it.
¶268–¶272 All right, the next church age, the 8th verse: …unto the angel of the church of Smyrna… All right, and the 12th verse: …unto the angel of the church of Pergamos…(Is that right?) The Message is addressed to the leader of the church. God help that guy that’ll pull away from that Message! But It was given to an angel, and the angel was in His hand under His Own control, giving it thriving power from Him, from His right hand. They’re in His right hand, that is, they’re in supreme power while they’re here on the earth; because they are the Lights from Him, giving the Light to that church age. See? “Unto the angel of the church.” Addressed to the star (of the age) that is responsible. The angel of the church is responsible if he doesn’t preach the Word. That’s right. And that angel will have to answer in the judgment. How many remembers the vision here not long ago about…Look here. When I was—when I was laying down on the bed, and the Holy Spirit come; and I looked back, my wife there. And there I was laying there, and went up into the Presence there, and I seen all those people. And you remember me telling that? All of you do. See? And I said, “Well, are they…?” He said, “They are yours.” And I said, “All them Branham’s?” He said, “No.” There was millions of them. He said, “That’s your converts.” And I said, “Converts?” “See that woman that you was admiring so, there, young and beautiful,” said, “she was past ninety when you led her to Christ.” And I said, “Oh!” I said, “Then I was afraid of this?” And he said, “We are waiting here for the coming of the Lord.” I said, “I want to see Him.”

¶30–¶35 Now, we are grateful for this morning, for the grand opportunity again to open up these pages of God’s Eternal Word. Now, the reason that I have taken upon myself to try to explain this, is because of we’re going through the Book of Revelations, and we just come through the seven church ages. And, then, at the end of the 3rd chapter of the Book of Revelations, the Church is taken from the earth, up into Glory. And I trying, with all my heart, to get this to the people, that they are expecting something to happen, that they see wrote in the Book of Revelations, when it was not applied in the church age. And we’re nearer the end than you think. A few nights ago, Billy, my…Or, my daughter-in-law, rather, called me, way in the night, and said there was a man named Andy In a few weeks from then, two or three weeks, he was stroked and laying paralyzed yonder in the hospital, dying. I said, “Aunt Ade, shame on you for not calling me or somebody, to get his heart in condition for this hour that he’s now arrived at.” I asked the Lord, the next morning, when I…He couldn’t talk, so I just asked him. I said, “Can you hear me, Uncle Andy?” And he—he could nod his head a little and move his jaws. I prayed for him, had him to confess his sins before God. I wanted to baptize him, and Aunt Ade wanted to be baptized. And I went down the hall, to see a young lady that lives in the neighborhood here, that they was going to send to the mental hospital, and the Lord done a great thing for her, come home. Then, on the road up, I met a colored sister, and she said, “Aren’t you Brother Branham?” I said, “I am.” She said, “You remember me? I am Mrs. Drye.”
¶108–¶110 And we watch and bring it, then, when we see God’s nature and what He…and then bring His Scripture out. And then take the—the history that shows it just exactly hit on the dot; exactly to the date, to the time, to everything that God said through John, would come to pass, it happened to that Gentile age. Now, we find ourself, beyond any shadow of a doubt, in the Laodicean Age. We know we are. We come through the Lutheran Age; we come through the Wesley age; now we’re in the Laodicean Age, the last age. And we realize that each one of those churches had a messenger. We find out that. The seven stars in His hand, which was Seven Spirits that went forth before God. Each one had a messenger. And we come down and we find out, by the Bible, what the nature of that messenger would be, what was the nature that messenger would be. And we pick up the man in history that had that nature. And then when we find that man in history, that had that nature, we come to find I don’t know, brother. That does more to me than anything I know of, see, because it’s God’s Word speaking Itself. When I hear God say something, I say, “Amen! That’s true. That’s right.” See? That settles it. It’s all over. “God said so.” That, that does it. Well, God said that would happen that way, and we found it in history and by the Scripture. We’d read of this church age, what it would do, what would take place, what kind of a messenger it was to that church age. “To—to the angel of the church of Laodicea. To the angel of the church of Sardis, Thyatira,” all these different ones. And we go back in history and find out the—the messenger of that church, and we found out who it was. So then we drawed it out, put their names under it, and there they are. See, we know that hit exactly.
