1. IS THIS THE SIGN OF THE END, SIR? — 1962-12-30

• ¶236–¶239 This may be the answer here. I don’t know. “Until He changes me,” do you remember the vision about three weeks ago, “standing in the sun, preaching to the congregation”? You all been here last Sunday. Many Sundays, you people here that gets the tapes, and—and is here when it’s made, you understand these things. Because, now I’ll just strike these places, and you watch it. Just even every bit of that that’s been said, types right into this, so it must be the interpretation. I don’t know. That’s why I’m saying, “Sirs, is this it?” I believe that “the seventh angel” of Revelation 10 is the seventh church-age messenger of Revelation 3:14. Remember. Now let me read. Look where I can read. Now, this was the seventh angel. But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, (7th verse) when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he has declared to his servants the prophets. Now, you notice, this was a angel. And it’s the angel of the seventh church age, because it says here, it is “the seventh angel,” of the seventh church age. Found that, if you want to see who the…where the angel is, Revelation 3:14, it’s, “The angel to the Laodicean church.” Now, you remember when that was told there, the angels and the church ages. And now, in this, it’ll dovetail right into these Seven Seals that we’re coming to speak. And the Seven Seals that we’re trying to speak of, when they come this time, is the seven written Seals. And these Seven Seals, as you know, is just the manifestation of the seven angels of the seven churches; but, there are seven other Seals that’s on the backside of the Book, It’s outside the Bible. Notice. We’ll get to it in a moment.

• ¶301–¶303 Notice, “The Book written,” when this angel finishes all these loose-end ministeries that through the battle they fought, Luther fought, and Wesley fought, and the Pentecostals fought. “But there’s coming one,” says the Bible, “that in the days of his sounding, all these mysteries…” The oneness run off on Jesus Name; the trinity went off on Father, Son, Holy Ghost, just like they did at the Nicaea Council, same thing; they both was wrong. But, now, in the middle of the road, in the Scriptures, lays out the Truth. You see where we’re at? The Angel of the Lord! Notice Revelation 5:1. Listen at this now: And I saw in the right hand of him that sat upon the throne a book written within (the writing was withinside) and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. Now, there is writing on the inside of the Book. But, the backside had Seven Seals, on the back of It, that wasn’t written in the Book. Now, this is the revelator talking, John. Now, remember, It wasn’t written in the Book. “And in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, all this mystery that’s written within should be finished.” It should be taken care of, in that day. Now do you see what I mean? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Are you following me? [“Amen.”] Then is the time for the seven voices of Revelation 10 to be revealed. When the Book is finished, there is only one thing left, and that’s the seven mysterious voices of thunder that was wrote on the backside of the Book, that John was forbidden to write. Let me read it. And I saw an angel, mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as…the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book open:…(See, now watch this.)…and he set his right foot on the sea,…his left…on the earth, And he cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he…cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. (Watch.) And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write:…

• ¶358–¶362 This is the complete revelation of Jesus Christ. “Nothing can be added to It or taken from It.” And if we put that in There, it don’t act with the rest of the Scripture. There is sixty-six Books of this Bible, and not one Word will contradict the other One. And then, if this is the continuation, for the sounding of these last trumpets, or these last Seven Thunders that’s coming forth, the mysteries, the last Seals, It’ll have to compete, or compare, with the rest the Scripture. And if them first Ones in there opened with a blast of thunder, the second Ones will, too, that’s on the backside. Watch what happens. If the vision was Scripture, then it must be interpreted by the Scripture, or a continuation of the same Scripture. Notice, Revelation, 3 and 4, “Seven Thunders.” Seven Thunders, and then notice, 3 and 4, and then (what?) an oath from that mighty Angel, that, “Time was finished.” When these Thunders, you see, brought forth their voices, then the Angel… Just think of it! “An Angel, clothed in a cloud, and a rainbow covenant over His head.” Why, you know Who that is. “Put one foot on the land, and on the sea, and lift up His hand and swore, that, ‘When them Seven Thunders uttered their voices,’ that, ‘time would be no more.’” And if the ministry of the mysteries of God is finished, what if that is them seven mysteries coming forth? And a humble, little church like ours, that the Almighty has come and regarded the low estate of His people! You say, “What? I don’t think so.” It might not be. But what if it is? Then time has run out. Did you think it? Be serious. It may be later than we think.

• ¶363–¶368 These stars falling into their constellation back yonder! That Angel coming, and said, “As John was sent to wind up the Old Testament and to bring forth the introduction of Christ, a Message will wind up the loose ends and will introduce the Messiah just before His Coming, the Message of the last days.” Notice, the mighty Angel swore, with an oath, that, “Time would be no more.” Now, I don’t want to keep you too long. Just think of this, a minute now. Now listen. This Angel come down from Heaven. See? The other, seven angels of the seven churches, was earthly messengers. But this Angel…All the Message is finished; the seventh angel winds up the whole thing. And this Angel comes not to the earth; He isn’t a man from the earth, as the messengers to the church ages; that’s finished. But, this Angel brings the next announcement. And an angel means a “messenger.” And He comes down from Heaven, clothed in that Pillar of Light, Cloud, with a rainbow over His head. And a rainbow is a covenant. It was Christ, “With one foot on land, and one on the sea, and swore, that, ‘Time will be no more.’” Where are we at, sirs? What’s all this about? I’m asking you. The other angels was messengers, men of the earth. But this Angel…These, that said, “To the angel of the church of Laodicea,” “To the angel of the church of Ephesus,” messengers of the earth; see, men, messengers, prophets, and so forth, to the church. But, this One didn’t come from the earth. He come down from Heaven, because the mystery is all finished. And when the mystery is finished, the Angel said, “Time shall be no more,” and Seven Thunders throwed their voices out.

2. THE SEVENTH SEAL — 1963-03-24

• ¶174–¶182 What is it? When God gets ready to speak, there’s a sound of a trumpet. That’s always His Voice. It’s calling to battle, see. God speaks. These angels will come forth with the sounding of the trumpet. And did you notice, at the last angel’s Message, the trumpet sounds. The first angel’s message, a trumpet sound; second angel’s, a trumpet sounded, when He sent it out. Notice, but when the Seals were announced, they were all in one great, Divine thing, to call out a group of people; there was one trumpet sound, and Seven Seals were broke. Notice, “Gather His elected Jews from the four parts of the heavens.” He mentioned the six Seals, as we have seen, but not the Seventh Seal. He has never said nothing in here about the Seventh Seal, nowhere. See, right away, the 32nd verse, turns to parables, of the time of the calling of the elected Jews. Now watch here, see. “And He’ll send the angels with a trumpet, and gather the Elect from the four corners of heaven.” Now He starts… See, He don’t say nothing about the Seventh Seal here. See? He spoke of the Sixth Seal; First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth. But notice: Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When its branches is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the door. That last, that question they asked Him, “And what will be the sign of the end of the world?”

• ¶267–¶272 Notice, one thunder, Seven Messages that’s been sealed up and cannot be revealed until the last day, of this age. See what I mean? Now, have you noticed the mysterious part of this week? That’s what It is. That’s what It’s been. It’s been not a human being, a—a man, it has been the Angels of the Lord. Notice, there is witnesses, of three, sitting in here, that a week ago, a little over a week ago, I was up, way back into the mountains, nearly to Mexico, with two brethren that’s sitting here. Picking cocklebur, or sandburs, off of my trouser leg; and a blast went off, that almost, looked like, shook the mountains down. Now, that’s right. I never told my brethren, but they noticed a difference. And He said to me, “Now be ready. Go east. Here is the interpretation of that vision.” See? Now, to let you know, Brother Sothmann has not got the game that he went after. We was trying to get it for him. And He said, “Now, tonight, for a sign to you, he isn’t going to do it. You must consecrate yourself at this time for the visitation of these Angels.” And I felt beside myself, you remember. And I was in the west, the Angels was coming east, and as They come by, I was picked up with Them, (You remember that?) coming east. And Brother Fred, in here tonight, is a witness, and Brother Norman. As we went down, I almost persuaded that man to stay and get his game. Is that right, Brother Sothmann? [Brother Fred Sothmann says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Yeah, there, stands right there. I persuaded; but, yet, He said, “He won’t do it.” I never said nothing; went on.

3. STANDING IN THE GAP — 1963-06-23

• ¶71–¶72 And he told me that he dreamed a dream, that up here somewhere, like in Indiana, that there was a long, great grassy hill, and the water had washed all the soil off the top, and it become rock like a—a bald top on the—on the mountain. And then in this rock there was funny Writing. And said I was standing there with all the brethren around the church here, interpreting this Writing. And then when it come to the time that I got all of It interpreted, then the…somehow or another, if I understand the dream right, got a hold of something like a crow bar, or—or some kind of a angle bar or something, or not a angle bar, I meant a—a pry bar or something, and just cut the top of that mountain out and lifted it up. And on the inside of it was white rock, something on the order of granite or—or something on that side, some white rock that wasn’t written on. And I said to the brethren, “Stay here and look in on This.” And I, while they were all looking, I slipped out from among them and started going West. And Brother Jackson said that he saw me going over one hill, and then another hill, getting smaller and smaller, going West. You remember that. Well, the interpretation of that, of course, was given here at the church before it come to pass, that the—the time is now, that I believe, that the full revelation through the age of Luther, Wesley, and John Smith, Alexander Campbell, and different ones that’s preached on the Bible, and then we got over in the Bible and showed that there would be a—a seventh angel’s Message. And at the sounding of the seventh angel’s Message, all the mysteries of God would be made known. Then come seven mysterious thunders.

• ¶82–¶83a And, now, I didn’t know at the time, that they were taking pictures of that, scientists was, as the Angels lowered themselves from Heaven, to bring the Message. And you remember, I said the One on the right side of the constellation had, kind of, His chest back, and His wings. You remember me saying that, all of you? And how that I watched Him? He was very distinctive from the others. And I didn’t know they were taking a picture of It, ’cause immediately I hurried East. But going back home to Tucson, there It was all through the papers that had been seen almost nation-wide, or plumb into Mexico, and all the Western States, and I think the Courier over here. It was on the Associated Press. How many saw, A Mysterious Cloud In The Sky? You see the hands. And now the Life magazine picked it up. And I have the—the article here this morning, in the Life magazine here, to show. Now here It is, the same time I was there. See the pyramid of the Cloud? I was standing just below this. And there, see the distinctive Angel on the right-hand side? See the pointed wing of It? Just exactly what was said. And here it’s in the view of Mexico and different places from where they took the picture. Now, this scientist here is trying to—to get all the information about the picture, that he can, about the people who has the picture. He is studying it. Now, he says here that it would be impossible for it to be a cloud, because moisture doesn’t go over about, I’d say, about six or eight miles high, something like that. When we go overseas we usually fly nineteen thousand feet, and we’re above the storms then. But this cloud, according to this article here of this scientist, is twenty-six miles high. It would be miles and miles beyond moisture. And he said, checking the area, and now, you know I…How many remembers that I told you, “It sounded like the sound breaker on a plane”? Remember? But there was no plane in the district. The book says so here. They’ve checked it. There were no one, no planes up there.

• ¶95–¶97 That was just before I come back for the Seven Seals. When I come back for the Seven Seals, then I…One morning he got a hold of Billy, and he wanted to talk to me. And I was busy, under prayer for the Seven Seals. And then he told me of…It happened again, and repeated it again. Brother Roy, if I get this wrong, you—you call my attention. And he said he—he got up again, in the—in the morning, I guess early again, in the morning. And there he looked in the room and he saw this big Light, or a Cloud up on a mountain. He asked me, not long ago, “Was there something about a Cloud being on a mountain,” and I said…“in the Bible?” And I said, “Yes, when Peter, James, and John was took up, and the Cloud overshadowed the Lord Jesus. And—and God spoke, said, ‘This is my beloved Son.’” I preached on that here, not long ago. A little message, the tape brethren might understand, Hear Ye Him. I suppose maybe you have it on tape. I’m sure. And he said that he went up the mountain. And when he did, I was standing there. And a Voice came from the Cloud, (Wasn’t it, Brother Roy?) and said something on this order, “This is My servant. And I’ve called him to be a prophet to the age, to lead the people just as Moses did. And he’s been given the authority, he could speak into existence.” Or something like that, like Moses did, like speaking in the flies. And we know about the squirrels, and so forth, and things that’s already took place. Little Hattie Wright back there, I suppose you know what taken place in her house. And He told him that I had done what Moses had done.

4. BLASPHEMOUS NAMES — 1962-11-04

• ¶40–¶42 And we hope to get the church up, so I can get these Church Ages in, before—before the winter sets in, if possible. If I don’t, or when I have to come back from over there, if the Lord Jesus tarries. I was listening yesterday when I was taking, believe it was day before yesterday, of a tape. I thought I heard it playing out here this morning. Some little Southern brother had…His mother had come into the meeting. She had a malignancy on her breast, and she was shadowed to death. And the Holy Spirit, in one of the recent meetings, at the Southern Pines, I believe it was, or somewhere, told her, said about her malignancy, and who she was, and where she come from. And said she had a boy that was a backslider, and he was going to have an accident, and be for manslaughter. And a whole lot of things like that. And this fellow… It all happened just the way. And her malignant cancer, or malignant growth, rather, left her. Which is, malignant growth is a cancer, you know. So then it—it left her. And the boy was up for manslaughter, and everything just the way the Holy Spirit said it. And he was led to Christ, back again. And he made a tape of it, and I—I heard it playing. Did you enjoy that little, old Southern talk? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Said, “Down here in North Carolin’er,” he said. Oh, I just love that, them old Southern people. And he had…The Lord just blessed him on. He said, “I know you say you don’t preach doctrine, Brother Branham; only to your congregation.” Said, “We’re part of your congregation.” So that was right cute in him, to say that.

• ¶298–¶302 Directly, I noticed the people begin to get like they was physically hungry. And so they had enough spiritual, so they started walking away. And some of them [Brother Branham yawns—Ed.] started walking away. I thought, “What’s the matter with everybody?” And—and I looked, and here some young couples going along, to my side. I thought…I said, “Just a minute, friend! Just a minute! You’ll be back again when the evening shadows fall.” See? I said, “You’ll be back again. But let me give you this first climax. Where does all these things come from, that I’ve showed you? Where are they from?” I said, “Here they are. They are in the Word of God. They are THUS SAITH THE LORD, His promise. Cause,” I said, “all of you bear me record, witness this, that my commission is, ‘Stay with the Word.’” I said, “What’s the matter with all of you? Can’t you understand the Word? You must understand It.” And some of them said, “Man, I’d like to have some biscuits,” and so like that. Well, I just thought, “Well, glory to God! If they want biscuits, let them go get them.” So I—I turned around. I thought, “Oh, but, you know what? The shadows is going to fall, after while, right away.” I said, “Then, tonight, when that congregation gathers in again, I’ll put the climax to them, and told them that the things that they have seen me do is found in the Word of God, not in some mythical book or some organization. It’s found in the Word. See? Every bit of it, in the Word, ’cause I’m commissioned to That.”

5. A MAN RUNNING FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD — 1965-02-17

• ¶81–¶85 Looking back there at some friends that was with me up there when the Angel of the Lord…These boys setting here, I believe they found the place where it happened up there. And just remember what the Lord said that day, to Brother Wood. Was walking up the hill. And— and he was kind of weeping, because of his wife being sick. And the Lord said, “Pick up that rock and throw it up in the air, and say, ‘THUS SAITH THE LORD.’” And I did that. And Brother Wood is setting as a witness. And I said, “Brother Wood, it won’t be long till you’re going to see something happen.” And the next day, when we were standing there, all of us together…And a bunch of the man standing right here tonight. A young preacher was there, and he was a…I noticed…I just met him the night before. He was in our camp. He come up to be with us. And he said to me, he said, “Brother Branham, do you ever see visions, out like this?” I said, “Yes, sir. But I come out here to get away from it, to kind of rest a little bit.” He said…“Well,” I said, “I—I…Course, He shows me things out here.” And I said, “Just over the hill here, where the seven Angels appeared down in there.” He said, “Yeah, I understand.” Said, “I was one of the sponsors on your meeting over in California.” I said, “Well, I’m certainly glad to know that.” And while standing there, just then I looked around and I seen kind of a heavy-set doctor looking into his eyes, and I heard him say, “You’re going to lose that eye, because there’s a allergy in there. And I’ve doctored it for two years, and you’re going to lose that eye.” I said, “Reason you asked me that, because your doctor told you the other day you was going to lose that eye.” And he said, “That’s right,” and he looked around like that.

• ¶86–¶89 And I seen his mother take off one of her stockings and hold her foot out, with little tumors hanging down between her toes, up and down her leg, and said, “If you see Brother Branham, tell him to pray for this.” I said, “Your mother hand her…stuck her foot out like that, and said she had…has got little tumors all over her—her toes, and like that, and said, ‘Have Brother Branham pray.’” He said, “Brother Branham, that’s the truth.” I looked back. When I did, I seen him standing there looking at me, like that, with his eyes just as bright. I met him this fall; he had better eyes than anybody in the camp. The Lord had healed him and made him well. While I was standing there, the Lord said, showed me what was going to happen. “Judgment is fixing to strike the West Coast.” And He said, “Get over there, beside of that fireplace.” And I had a shovel in my hand; walked over there. And Brother Roy Roberson, all of us know him here. He’s not here tonight, as I know of; he’s in Arizona out there. He’s the chairman of the trustees here, and I knowed him being a veteran. And something was going to happen; a real pretty, still morning, about ten o’clock in the morning. The boys all around there, ten or twelve of us, letting down tents, and skinning out pigs, and things. So we…I walked around, I said, “Roy, hide, quick. Something is fixing to happen.” I couldn’t tell him no more. But just the time I got over there… And coming down from the heavens come the whirlwind of God, and clapped, like, shook the hills, running inside of that mountain, cut a streak plumb around it, about five feet above my head, and cut all the tops of them trees off, as the rocks went out. Went up in the air and come down again, with another big baptism, and struck across the mountain, and throwed the rocks out like that. Did it three times, and then went up in the air. And Brother Banks come over to me, said, “That’s what you said yesterday?” I said, “Yes, sir, that’s exactly it.” See?

6. THE UNCERTAIN SOUND — 1960-12-18

• ¶383–¶388 Back over here in the next chapter, the 16th chapter, He told them, “Some standing there should not die until they seen the Kingdom of God coming in Power.” In other words, what would they do? They would see the foretaste of the Kingdom of God. They would know the order of the resurrection and the Coming of God. See, in the 16th chapter. Now here He goes up there, and He, what happened? His fashion was changed. In other words, He was revealed in another way. Do you follow me? What do we find the revelation was, the other night, in the apocalypse, the apocalypse mean? A sculptor, it was dug down here, making something; and then what he does, he just takes the curtain out, says, “There it is.” What was He redoing here? He was revealing Himself in another fashion. What was He in? A glorified, transfigured condition; His Coming, the way He’s coming, a glorified Christ, transformed. His raiment shined like the sun. My! Oh! He stood in the cloud; and He’s coming in the clouds of glory. Overshadowed by a cloud; not a little white thunderhead up yonder. But the cloud that He comes in is a cloud of glory, all His angels with Him. Hallelujah! My! That’s the way He’s coming, coming in a cloud of glory. Now, notice, when they seen Him standing there. And before that, there appeared to Him, Moses and Elijah. Watch the… That, what did Moses meant? Moses, was, represented the ones that had died and was sleeping in the grave, ’cause Moses died and was buried. Nobody know where he was buried at. But he represented the ones that were asleep, when He come.

• ¶483–¶486 How many has ever seen the discernment, raise your hand. All right, all of you. That’s right, so you know what it is. Now do you believe, this morning, that you’ve heard the Voice of God? Now I’m going to ask for Brother Wood, Brother Fred Sothmann, and some of the trustees, to come here just a moment. Some of you trustee brothers, or deacons, or whatever, come here just a moment. Now it’s going to be rather congested here, and I want you to help. Now to you, you people on this, my right side, that’s going to be prayed for, I want you to come on this side here. And brother, Brother Collins, stand right down in there, if you will. And come right down here, so they can come by and be prayed for. I’m going to ask you little children on this side of the altar, if you’ll go over on this side just for a few minutes, for Brother Branham; not for me, but for the Lord Jesus. Now you brethren stand here so that the people can come right through, and then—then we’ll take all on this other side. Now from this first row right here…Brother Charlie, I wonder if you brethren, David and you, if you want to come up here, or move kind of back towards the back? All right. Now the first ones here in this row, just raise up like that; just start from that side, over and against the wall, as we pray, now, when we get ready to start. Now, not yet. Then when this side over here, we’ll have you all to go back to this side; and then, and then come on out to that side, and then come down. Now the trustees and them will get you in the right position.

7. O LORD, JUST ONCE MORE — 1963-06-28

• ¶41–¶42 And I was talking to someone a few minutes ago. If you look in Life magazine, last month, you’ll see there…And you got that tape. I’m not a tape salesman. But if you ever believed the Words that I preach, and you can afford it, get The Seven Seals, and first get What Time Is It, Sirs? Listen to that spoke of, six months before it happened. And science is baffled. Standing right under where it was happening there. And told them, six months before, how that there would be seven Angels in a form of a constellation, and look like a pyramid, would drop down. And I would be standing north of Tucson, Arizona, and there would be a roar that would even shake the rocks from the mountains. Brother Fred Sothmann sitting there, who was standing with us, many of them, when it happened. Now science took the picture of It, you seen It, went on Associated Press. They didn’t know what It was. There is a Cloud hanging, twenty- six miles high. That’s fifteen miles, or twenty, above even where vapor is at. They don’t know what it’s all going about, and they are trying to investigate It. And there, right under It, I was standing. And those seven Angels roaring out their voices, of those Seven Seals, standing there. And the witness, three of us, as a witness of the things that was prophesied on the tape, Sirs, What Time Is It? And there now they’re trying to find out. It’s a mystery to them. Some of them said, “Go, go, why don’t you go tell them?”

8. THE UNVEILING OF GOD — 1964-06-14

• ¶36–¶40 There is several sitting here, a number, that was with us the other day when He came in a whirlwind. Told us the day before, Brother Banks Wood and them, when He said, “Take up this rock, throw it up in the air, and say, ‘THUS SAITH THE LORD! You will see it right away.’” And I picked up the rock, up on top the mountain, threw it up in the air, and the…course, coming down, it started the whirlwind, see, the suction of it. You have to do something to cause something to follow it. Jesus took a piece of bread and broke it, then multiplied from that piece of bread. He took water, poured it into a pitcher. Elijah took salt, put it in a cruse; cut down a stick, throwed it on the water. It’s something to symbolize. And picking up this rock and throwing it into the air, and coming down started the whirlwind. The next day, why, there was a minister with us on a hunting trip. He was standing close, and he said to me, “Does the Lord give visions out like this, Brother Branham?” I said, “Yes, but I usually come out here to rest.” And just then the vision came. And Brother Borders, I think he’s outside now, he was along. Brother Banks Wood, I think, and, oh, several was up there, eight or ten. And Brother Banks Wood watching for this. Right on the mountain, right across from, exactly, about one half mile where the seven Angels appeared, that I left here to go there for, that come back and told the…about the Seven Seals. Just about a half a mile from that.

9. THE INVISIBLE UNION OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST — 1965-11-25

• ¶300–¶302 Now we’re closing, in saying this. Finish up the great commission, how could they do it? We know they’re dead. God let it die in this scientific age, all of it, so—so He could (do what?) open up the Seven- Seal mystery to the undenominational Bride. How can a denomination accept those Seven Seals, when It’s absolutely contrary, serpent’s seed and all those other things? The whole, full seven mysteries is contrary to what they’ve been taught, because they took the old school from their Bible school. And the Seven Seals of God, when It was opened there on the mountain: let God, no, let me die right now at this pulpit if That ain’t the Truth. And I foretold you, a year and six months before it happened, what He told me, “Go to Arizona,” and what would happen out there in the desert. And there’s men setting right here, tonight, was standing right there and present when the seven Angels come down. And even mag-…The magazine, Life magazine, packed the article of It. It’s right there in the observatory, and everything. Now they don’t even know what It’s all about. And everything has been said, oh, even to the destruction of California, coming up now, and all these other things. And how I told them how many days it would be, how it would be where this big earthquake happened in Alaska, and that would be the beginning of the sign of time, and what would take place. And just word by word, what It said, It’s never failed one time. You’ve never seen It fail. And It can’t fail, because It’s God’s Words. “And Heaven and earth will pass away, but It can’t fail.” That’s right.

And there was an old man walked out with a pair of blue corduroy overalls, or blue overalls with a yellow corduroy cap and a white mustache. He said, “He will show you the way.” Then He taken me into a house this a way, turning to from the north coming south. And when I walked in there, there was a…I walked in, there was a old stove setting there, old wood burner, what they call chunk stove. I don’t think you have them here in Arizona. How many knows what a chunk stove is, let…? Are you from Arkansas? That’s where they have plenty of them. How many Arkansas’ers are here, let’s? I thought so. See? All right.

Holding on to the wings of the cross, through the storms of life, O God, to safety yonder to the Rock.” Here at Gary, Indiana, not long ago, I was down there watching something take place. They was taking me through one of those mills down there, one of those great big places where they make all these machine pieces. And a man taken me up, as I’m closing now, listen, and he was showing me around the factory. There was a whole lot of machines, lathes there turning this stuff, and all at once, while he was telling me, explaining it all to me, we was standing up high, and just then a little bell rung, every man laid up his apron and begin to sweep the—the shavings down in the middle of the floor. I said, “What are they doing that for?” He said, “Reverend Branham, I’ll show you something in a few minutes.” I said, “All right.” He swept it all out in the middle of the aisle, each man, waited just a few minutes, another little whistle, “Toot! Toot!” away everybody went, well, the place was empty. He said, “Now watch.” And he pressed a button.

12. RECOGNIZING YOUR DAY AND ITS MESSAGE — 1964-07-26

I didn’t know there would be a mysterious blackout in the moon, to represent this Laodicea Age. Now, on the papers, you only get the six ages. Is because the Laodicea church was blacked out completely. And if you would notice the spiritual application, as God set it in the heaven. When I set it here on earth, I left a little bitty space, as you see, just a teeny little bit of light. That was just before the very Elected was to be called from the earth, the reason I placed it on there for the seventh age. But when God put it in the heavens, it was totally blacked out, means maybe the last one is called from that Laodicea Age. We don’t know. There could be a sermon on it. Now notice again, before the—the Seven Seals, which I had no idea it was that way. Here at the tabernacle He spoke of it, and sent me to Tucson, Arizona, telling you all what would happen. And there is men setting present, today, who was there to see it happen just exactly the way it was told here would happen, “Seven Angels would come.” Then the newspapers packed that, and the magazines, across the nation, “Mysterious circle of Light in a form of a pyramid,” just like I drawed it here and showed you. Raised up from where those Angels was standing, and went thirty miles high, and was twenty-seven miles across; or either twenty-seven miles high, and thirty miles across, I forget which it was. And was seen throughout the states, just up above Tucson, Arizona, right where it happened, same time.

And the last weekend, we had a little, kind of a church doctrine for three nights here. That’s, last Saturday night, Sunday morning, and Sunday night, prior this meeting. Kind of get the church shook in condition, so we could go ahead with this meeting coming on now. And then immediately after this, Sunday night will be my farewell night to the tabernacle for some time, as far as I know. And now…

There will be a blast, and seven Angels will appear.” You remember? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Not even…God making it so real until the Look magazine took the pictures of it. Spiritual, foresaw, materialized just exactly the same, the seven Angels, which brought forth the winding up of all the Scriptures. Cause, all the mysteries of the entire Bible lays in the Seven Seals. We know that That is the…The Book, It’s sealed with that even now. It’s the mystery of the entire Book, laid in those Seven Seals, that the Lord let us bring.

But then just before it happened, I was given a vision, which is on tape, as you all know, Sirs, What Time Is It? that I should go to Tucson, Arizona. And there on the backside of the desert, up into the mountain, where I was with some brethren, and told about what a great blast would go off, and I…seven Angels came down. Me thinking, myself, it was the end of my life; told my wife to get with Billy, and what to do with the children, and so forth, till we met again at the other side. Then one day in Sabino Canyon, while God called me early in the morning up there, I was up with my hands in the air, praying, and a sword came into my hands. You know that. I stood there and looked at it, just natural as my hand is now, not knowing what it meant. Immediately after that, the Angels of the Lord appeared and told about the Seven Trumpets…or the Seven Seals, that I was to return back here to Jeffersonville and preach the Seven Seals. And, there, if I’ve ever said anything that was inspired, it was in that. There where the Angel of the Lord met us, and the Bible become a new Bible. There It opened up and revealed all the things that the reformers and things had left out. It was the complete revelation of Jesus Christ, altogether new to us, but perfectly exactly with the Scripture. That was the Word which has always been. I was so inspired and directed.

He said, “Brother Branham, I know you.” He said, “I been standing in this rain for eight or ten days here.” Said, “You wouldn’t pass me, would you, Brother Branham?” Said, “I got a bunch of kiddies at home.” Said, “They need me.” Said, “A wagon run over me and I’m…twisted my leg like this.” I said, “Do you believe?” “With all my heart.” I said, “Then in the Name of the Lord Jesus, give me your cane.” And God, Who is my sovereign Judge, when the man in an act of faith handed the cane, his leg come straight, and he jumped into the air and screamed to the top of his voice.

I just told you what I saw. The Message is on tape, What Time Is It, Sir? I saw a constellation of Angels, like a—a pyramid, come down just north of Tucson; up in this way, north of Tucson. And there stood those seven Angels just as natural as you see me standing here, and told me to return to my home, that, the mysteries that the reformers down through the ages had failed to pick up, the mysteries of the Bible, which the Seven Seals held, would be revealed. I challenge anybody, get those Seven Seals and look them over, and find a fault with them. See? See? Because it’s given by inspiration of God.

And this was one of their messages they TESTIMON Y had laying back, said, “THUS SAITH THE LORD, in the last days before the coming of the Lord, I’ll send My servant, William Branham, up the West Coast with…” And there it was wrote on old paper. And then one night, I was coming out of Seattle, and there was a man standing over there. And he had a book under his arm. He kept telling me, “Brother Branham, you’re in the wrong church.” And I didn’t know what he was talking of. And he put the book under my arm. It was called the Mormon Word Of God. I don’t know what it was. It’s a—it’s one of their prophets of The Latter Day Saint, some bunch of them, that they claims they see the neophytes. And—and back there a hundred and…long long…how long ago it was, it… on a certain page there…I have the book in my library.

He said, “There’s three hundred thousand of those in that Branham meeting.” And I pitched forward in the floor. My strength was gone. I raised up, looked around, and I heard something going…The leaves turning, and I looked, and here come my Bible right down, and It was turned to the same Scripture where I read tonight. And then It was turning back towards the front of the Bible, and as It turned back towards the front part, It stopped on Joshua, the 1st chapter, and a finger begin to read down, point down along the lines. “The Lord thy God is with thee wheresoever thou goest. No man shall stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so will I be with you. Be very courageous…” And so forth like that, till It read down there, most of the chapter, 1st chapter of Joshua.

Brother Arganbright, one of your California brethren here, the Christian Business Men, I believe he is secretary, or something, or treasurer, something-another in the Christian Business Men, one of their executives, a real fine brother, he’s not here tonight, or he’d be on the platform. Miner Arganbright is gun-barrel straight, he’s a fine man, you can put your trust in Miner Arganbright as a Christian. I’ve been with him in all kinds of meetings. He was setting there that night when fifteen witch doctors on each side, trying to blow the thing away, and seen there the storm lifting, around thirty or forty thousand people, that tent shaking, them witch doctors cutting that feather, and pointing it towards me, with them scissors, and going through there and chanting, and said they’d call the storm, they did it. Don’t you never underestimate them. So they called the storm, said, “We’ll blow it away.” And that great big place moving up and down like that. I said, “Brother Arganbright, pray.” I said, “Brother Lowster, don’t interpret this.” I said, “Lord God, I stepped off that plane the other day, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. You told me You would stand by me in the hour of trouble, You’ve never failed me yet, therefore, Lord, this crowd is all excited, there’s hundreds and thousands of communists setting here,” and that little, blind girl had just been healed, I said, “It’s You, God, You can move that cloud, so I rebuke that cloud.” God being my Judge, right in the middle of the tent, she begin to break, roll away like this, and in less than a minute the sun was shining, the thunder roaring out like that, standing there, yes.

23. IT IS THE RISING OF THE SUN — 1965-04-18

• ¶10–¶13 Science took the picture, all the way from Mexico, as it moved from northern Arizona, where the Holy Spirit said I would be standing, “forty miles northeast of Tucson.” And it went into the air, and Life magazine packed the pictures, “A mystic something way in the spheres, where there could be no moisture, where there could be no evaporations of anything; thirty miles high, and twenty-seven miles across,” and coming right up from where those Angels were. Now, they asked, to know. Science, the one of them in Tucson, wanted to know any significance, but I didn’t tell them. You all knew it, told beforehand. But it wasn’t for them; it was for you. And so there He spoke to me, and said, “The Seven Seals will be opened. The seven mysteries, sevenfold mystery of the Bible, that’s been closed up since the foundation of the world, will be revealed.” And we, yet a humble little group, compared with all the world, we’ve enjoyed these blessings, a hearing those mysteries. Marriage, divorce, serpent’s seed, all these different questions, has been completely revealed to us, not by man, but by God, Himself, that’s opened those seven mysteries; of what the Church was, how It was in Christ at the beginning, and how It would be revealed in the last day. And now, as this went up, we have the picture outside on the plaque. But, then, I have the picture laying present here, if you notice, as Life magazine had it. But I wonder if my audience, visible here, has ever really looked at the picture, see, see, in the way it should be.

24. COME, FOLLOW ME — 1963-06-01

I looked to see when it was, and it was time, same, about day or two before, or day or two after I was up there. I looked where it was at. “Northeast of Flagstaff, or Prescott, which is below Flagstaff.” Well, that’s just where we was at, see, just exactly. “Twenty-six miles high.” Why, vapor can’t go over—over four, four miles high, or five, moisture, any kind of fog or anything, you see. Planes fly at nineteen thousand. That’s to get up above all the clouds, you see. And nineteen thousand is about four miles high. This is twenty-six miles high, and thirty miles across it, and in the shape of the pyramid, if you’ve looked at the picture. And on the right-hand side, as I told you, I noticed, outstanding, that Angel. There He is, chest out, wings back, coming right in, just exactly the way it was. I never noticed it when They first…There been so many things. Just in coming down the road the other day, there was something happened that spoke to me about the thing that I—I must do. And it’s— it’s not my message. At one time, Leo Mercier said, said, “Brother Branham, the time will come after this,” said, about five or six years ago, maybe seven, said, “the Lord going to change your ministry, Brother Branham.” And said, “When He does, you’ll probably just line up hospitals, and speak them out of the—the beds and things.” It didn’t sound right, although I believe Brother Leo was trying to be sincere about it.

25. MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE — 1965-02-21

Because of the divorce conditions. “It wasn’t so from the beginning.” But Moses was permitted it, and God recognized it righteousness. And Paul also had a right, when he found his church in that condition. Now you believe This to be true, and believe It to come from God! And by the vindication of His Cloud and His Message that’s brought me this far, should not God upon the mountain permit me to do the same thing, to suffer you to go on the way you are, and do it no more! Go with your wives and live in peace, for the hour is late. The Coming of the Lord is at hand. We haven’t got time to break these things up. Don’t you dare try to do it again! I’m speaking only to my congregation. But if you are married…And God bore me witness of that, on the mountain, that I could say This, a supernatural revelation, because of the opening of the Seven Seals, and this is a question in God’s Word. “Let them go on and, as they are, and sin no more!” “It wasn’t so from the beginning.” That is right, it wasn’t so, and it will not be at the end. But under modern conditions, as God’s servant…I won’t call myself His prophet; but I believe maybe, if I wouldn’t be sent for that, I’m laying a ground for him when he does come. So under the modern conditions, I command you to go to your home, with your wife now. If you are happy with her, live with her, raise your children in the admonition of God. But God be merciful to you if you ever do that again! You teach your children to never do a thing like that, bring them up in the admonition of God.

And Brother Sullivan, this morning, asked me if I would attend next year at Ohio, up at his place, where the next convention is to be held. And I told him that the Lord willing, I would be glad to do it. We’ll just…Course, we never know from day to day what will happen. We’re just…We should always say, “If it be the will of the Lord.” But this has been a real blessing to me. As I was telling you, recently at my cave where I go to pray, I met the Holy Spirit. And I believe he’s trying to adjust the ’phones. They got some transposition there, what’s…I guess that’s what it is. And I know when I used to work for the Public Service Company, we would call transposition when we would move the three phases of wire, we would transposition it by moving it across from one—one phase to…the right-hand phase to the left-hand phase, and we called it a transposition. I think that’s what was happening there, the transposition of the—the voice. But we are so glad to be here. And what Billy run up and told me just now, he said, “They taken you a offering, Daddy, thank them.” Well, I—I thank you with all my heart. And I—I told Joseph not to do that. He…They do it, but it certainly can be used right now, because I’m very much in need of it, as you know, I’m…I just recently borrowed five thousand dollars, and then before I got that out, I had to borrow another five thousand. And you know what I mean. And, but I’ve yet got my first offering to take up.

I had never been married yet, my to-be-wife was taking pictures on the bank, which is my son Billy’s mother. And I heard it again, and up to the third time, said, “Look up!” And when I looked up towards the heavens, a place about ten feet square looked like water in the blue skies moving around. And out of that blue-water-like, came a Light coming down from Heaven. The people begin to screaming, many fainted.

Now, you dear people out in radio land, and you that’s sick and needy here in the audience, would you just lay your hands on each other now while we have this word of prayer for the sick. Now, Jesus said, His last commission to the Church, “These signs shall follow them that believe.” “Them,” them that believe! “If they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover.”

And another little brother came up and shook my hand, said his little girl had a great big goiter on her throat when I was down at Jack Moore’s church, and said the Holy Spirit moved around, and called her out there in the audience, and told her that the goiter just vanished and disappeared and went away; there she was. Oh, my! What is it? What is that Pillar of Fire? It’s the Angel of the Lord. What is the Angel of the Lord? The same One was in the burning bush, the same One that was in Jesus Christ, the same One that’s in you tonight. Amen. The same One here, the same great Lord Jesus.

There’s many people sitting right here, stood right here at Phoenix, and heard me tell you from this very platform, “THUS SAITH THE LORD.” How many remembers it? “Now go. Something is fixing to happen.” I saw seven Angels come. Didn’t Life magazine pack it, as the fog of It floated across here, twenty-seven miles high, and thirty miles across? Is not Fred Sothmann, these other, Gene Norman, them, setting back there? Stood right there when them seven Angels appeared right there on the hill. It shook the hills, for miles around, like that. There stood seven Angels. And throwed a sword in your hand, said, “Go home and open these Seven Seals that are given.” And here they are, the true mystery of marriage and divorce, and the serpent’s seed, and all of these things that’s been fussed about. It’s THUS SAITH THE LORD.

I took my hands down like that, started back. And…?…said, “Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord.” And his wife said, “You see, honey?” He said, “Sure.” Said, “Oh, you really see, honey?” Said, “Sure.” Said, “See that red car setting there, they’re going to take Parson Branham to?” Everybody begin to scream. There it was. Oh, here about two or three years ago, I heard from him. He’s preaching the Gospel, that old man, holding meetings. And how? Led by the Spirit.

See? See? Now, when Jesus was overshadowed by God, on Mount Transfiguration, “clouds overshadowed Him and His raiment.” See? And when Elijah was come down, a cloud come down and received him up. Not a—not a Pillar of Fire, not…I mean, not a thunderhead, but, “a cloud of glory.” His great, glorious Presence shall strike the earth. “He cometh in clouds.” Oh, I love that. “Clouds,” there will be wave after wave, of His glory, will come across the earth, and the resurrection of the saints shall come. When that blessed Holy Spirit that’s lived in their hearts, and they died, with their corpse laying there, and the tear stains over their cheeks, and things like that, and they’re placed out here in a graveyard, a great wave of that same Spirit, and a “whoossh,” wave after wave.

And no man was able to take It, anymore, to redeem the earth; no priest, pope, nothing, as I said. “But the Lamb come up!” No Mary, no saint this, or saint that. “The Lamb come up, bloody, slain, and took the Book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the Throne.” And when they seen there was a Redeemer; and all the—the souls under the altar, when the Angels, when the elders, when the everything seen it, when this is done. 38. BEING LED OF THE HOLY SPIRIT — 1956-02-19

Whrrr, whrr, whrr, like that always goes every time we have a healing service. That’s just what happens. That’s the way it has always sounded. Sounded that way in the bush that time when I heard it. It’s always been that way. And I felt it. I heard it, rather, going, moving. And I looked, and here went that real soft Light moving away from me and went down and went into that little building. And then there’s something different between the Light and the Angel, ’cause He was still here with me, and the Light had went into the building. And this Angel still speaking behind me, which is a big Man, and He said, “I will meet you in there.”… So then I said, “I don’t understand why in there.”

39. CHRIST IS THE MYSTERY OF GOD REVEALED — 1963-07-28

• ¶204–¶207 Because, the Bible is written in mysteries. Jesus thanked the Father for it, see, that It was wrote in mysteries. Now, the Coming of the Lord is in mystery. We don’t know when He’s coming, how He’s coming, but we know He is coming. See? And so was all the mysteries of God waiting for this last day. After it’s already been completed, then He reveals and shows what He’s done. Oh, my! Never gave His mystery in full. It’s just like this, comparing the Seven Seals. Now, when God used Martin Luther for the coming out for that first church or that church age, and when He used John Wesley, and He gradually brought them out, and was revealing in them that church age. When we…when it goes back through the Bible now and find out. But in the last days, the reason that was such a tremendous thing, that He spoke of it here and showed those Seven Thunders. And Look and Life ma-… Life magazine then packed that Circle of a Cloud and Light there that they could not understand, and don’t know it yet. But here telling, “Go there and wait for these mysteries to be revealed,” and here months before it happened, and then it happened at exactly the way He said it would do. Did you notice in that picture? Even that Angel on the right, when he was being materialized, coming down, with his wings back and his head setting sideways, there it is right there in the picture, just exactly. Months before it happened, told here, that, “He’s going to bring the Body of believers together; to reveal, take up them lost ends.”

40. OBEY THE VOICE OF THE ANGEL — 1950-07-13

Frankly, It’s here right now. And then when a…Just when I was saying that, I—I knew it come near. Then—then It come to me, I seen a Man come, walking. He was barefooted. He had on a white garment like a robe, and He had dark hair, to His shoulders. He had dark eyes. He was smooth faced, and kind of a dark complected. He walked up to me, had His arms folded in this manner. He looked down at me. And I was biting my fingers, and I was real nervous.
