1. THE FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS — 1964-07-19

  • ¶59–¶65 Never did God use a group. Every time any group of people organized, God left it and never did return. Search the history and see if that’s right or not. We’ve already done it. Never does He deal with a system or a group, after they organize; it’s against God. Therefore, during the time of the reformations, there come in reformers, as the Seven Seals proved that it was. But in the last days now, it was supposed to be revealed again. Because, we find in the Scripture, in Malachi 4, that there is to be an anointing come down and to restore again that original Faith, “and to bring the faith of the people back to the original pentecost, the Faith of the fathers.” And we took the Elijah of the first run; we took the Elisha to follow him; we took John the Baptist after that, who was the Elisha of that day; and a promise for another in this day. Now, John the Baptist was not the Elisha of Malachi 4. He was the Elisha of Malachi 3. Jesus said so. “Behold, I send My messenger before My face, to prepare the way.” We find him being that. Now, in doing so, in finding those positions, we know that all the rest the Scripture, inspired of God, reveals to us that we’re in the last day. Now, if I come with the message of Pentecost, I would be in the Laodicean Church Age, and it wouldn’t be right. That’s the reason that Wesley could not take Luther’s message. Luther was in one age, church age, and Wesley was in another church age. If Jesus would have come in the…with the message of Moses, it would not have worked. If Moses would have come with the message of Noah, it would not have worked.

  • ¶244–¶247 There was three stages of it, as I said. The martyrs, age of the martyr, for it; and then the stage of the reformers; and now the calling- out time. When finished, at Laodicean Age, according to Revelation 10, the mystery of all the Bible would be knowed to the Bride. Is that right? Revelation 10. Listen close now. Uh-huh. Bride, called out by the Word; Christ Himself calling out the Bride, making plain Hebrews 13:8, that He’s “the same yesterday, today, and forever,” does the same, is the same. “He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also.” See? Luke 22…Or, Luke 17:30, and also Malachi 4, Hebrews 4:12, all these Scriptures that’s promised, this is to be between the Sixth and the Seventh Seal, and the Sixth and the Seventh Trumpet. Pentecost feast finishes at the period of the Seventh Trumpet, for the next is the Coming of…Seventh Seal, for the next is the mystery of the Coming of Christ, and, also, the Trumpet is sound for the Jews. Their Sixth Trumpet is sound, and, when it does, it makes known to them the revealed Son of God; one-half hour of space. Remember, all Trumpets sound on this Sixth Seal. The Sixth Seal finishes the mystery, under the Sixth Seal, just before the Seventh is opened. Notice, here is Leviticus 23:26. How in order is the Scripture! After the long period of pentecost, which Israel did reject back there; and He called the Gentile Church out, through this pentecostal feast. How many understand what the pentecostal feast is? It’s the fruit of… firstfruit of the harvest, the firstfruit of the resurrection, the pentecostal feast. Don’t miss this, people! And, you on tape, listen close!

  • ¶287–¶291 I said, “They said, ‘If this be the Messiah, let us see Him do the sign of the prophet. We believe the prophets.’” Brother Lewi Pethrus and them sent me those Bibles; when they give a million of them out to them Jews coming from Iran and everywhere, coming back, assembling themselves together, become a nation. I thought, “This is my time.” I was already…Cairo, Egypt. He said, “Don’t do it now. The hour is not yet.” Then I returned home. Uh-huh. Oh, my! Moses and Elijah has got to call. The pentecostal jubilee is still going, or had up till this time. See? Now the feast of Trumpets has to be known. And this one over here of Malachi 4 is not connected with that one over there; not at all, not at all. Notice, watch here, the ministry will be Moses and Elijah, changing and calling Israel from the Jewish traditions, listen, from the Jewish traditions that they had been mixed up in. Being prophets, they’ll believe—they’ll believe him, calling them to the feast of the Atonement, Christ, letting them recognize Christ. They’ll say, “He is coming. He’ll be here.” The Jews will be gathering, things like that. And then when He comes, say, “Here I am.” See? “Where’d You get them scars?” “In the house of My friends.” Now, the same as those two prophets did! Remember, the Gentile Bride is to have a prophet, called Elias, Elijah, that’s to call them out of their traditions, the Bride; just the same as these prophets called Jews out of Judaism, to Christ, the Atonement. And the Gentiles already knows the Atonement, but it’s to call the Bride back to the original Atonement, where these (fifty) sabbaths they…All these seven sabbaths that they have got away from; call them back to the end time. The seven…Listen! The Seventh Church messenger, the Seven Trumpet messenger, is all prophets. Now, that’s right. Injected, is the hundred and forty-four thousand.

  • ¶40–¶42 And we hope to get the church up, so I can get these Church Ages in, before—before the winter sets in, if possible. If I don’t, or when I have to come back from over there, if the Lord Jesus tarries. I was listening yesterday when I was taking, believe it was day before yesterday, of a tape. I thought I heard it playing out here this morning. Some little Southern brother had…His mother had come into the meeting. She had a malignancy on her breast, and she was shadowed to death. And the Holy Spirit, in one of the recent meetings, at the Southern Pines, I believe it was, or somewhere, told her, said about her malignancy, and who she was, and where she come from. And said she had a boy that was a backslider, and he was going to have an accident, and be for manslaughter. And a whole lot of things like that. And this fellow… It all happened just the way. And her malignant cancer, or malignant growth, rather, left her. Which is, malignant growth is a cancer, you know. So then it—it left her. And the boy was up for manslaughter, and everything just the way the Holy Spirit said it. And he was led to Christ, back again. And he made a tape of it, and I—I heard it playing. Did you enjoy that little, old Southern talk? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Said, “Down here in North Carolin’er,” he said. Oh, I just love that, them old Southern people. And he had…The Lord just blessed him on. He said, “I know you say you don’t preach doctrine, Brother Branham; only to your congregation.” Said, “We’re part of your congregation.” So that was right cute in him, to say that.

  • ¶298–¶302 Directly, I noticed the people begin to get like they was physically hungry. And so they had enough spiritual, so they started walking away. And some of them [Brother Branham yawns—Ed.] started walking away. I thought, “What’s the matter with everybody?” And—and I looked, and here some young couples going along, to my side. I thought…I said, “Just a minute, friend! Just a minute! You’ll be back again when the evening shadows fall.” See? I said, “You’ll be back again. But let me give you this first climax. Where does all these things come from, that I’ve showed you? Where are they from?” I said, “Here they are. They are in the Word of God. They are THUS SAITH THE LORD, His promise. Cause,” I said, “all of you bear me record, witness this, that my commission is, ‘Stay with the Word.’” I said, “What’s the matter with all of you? Can’t you understand the Word? You must understand It.” And some of them said, “Man, I’d like to have some biscuits,” and so like that. Well, I just thought, “Well, glory to God! If they want biscuits, let them go get them.” So I—I turned around. I thought, “Oh, but, you know what? The shadows is going to fall, after while, right away.” I said, “Then, tonight, when that congregation gathers in again, I’ll put the climax to them, and told them that the things that they have seen me do is found in the Word of God, not in some mythical book or some organization. It’s found in the Word. See? Every bit of it, in the Word, ’cause I’m commissioned to That.”

3. TRYING TO DO GOD A SERVICE WITHOUT IT BEING GOD’S WILL — 1965-11-27

  • ¶207–¶211 Listen at Micaiah’s last words to that man: “If you return at all, then God never spoke to me.” Amen. See, God has His way of doing things. These men thought they were doing God a service. Be careful! Not emotion, not enthusiasm, not imaginations, but it must be “THUS SAITH THE LORD,” must be right. All right, no matter…We find these things so. Notice now when David had made this great proclamation, and it seemed like that it was good, a good thing to do. Then we find out that (Am I tiring you? Am I too late to have another?) they had made this great proclamation, he consulted not the prophet. Now, anyone knows that Amos 3:7 said that God promised that He would never do nothing until first He revealed it to His prophet. Through the church ages we’ve had reformers; but promised by Malachi 4 that there would be a prophet in the land in the last days (because it has to fit that pattern, see) before the end time come. Before Jesus come the first, Elijah come, Elijah of Malachi 3. Matthew 11 says so, “If you can understand it, this is who was spoken of, ‘Behold, I send My—My messenger before Me.’” Now, He’s prophesied, all theologians believe that: that in the last day, the Spirit of Elijah is to come, too. It has to come five times, God uses that Spirit: Elisha, Elijah, John the Baptist, and for the Gentile church, and then for the Jews in Revelation the 11th chapter. That’s, God’s g-r-a-c-e, f- a-i-t-h, J-e-s-u-s, Jesus, the—the letter five. Can’t stop at four, it has to go to five. See? Notice!

  • ¶301–¶303 Notice Malachi 4, Revelation 10, Seven Seals. Didn’t the Bible say…Now watch! There was a Angel, a Messenger from Above, and a earthly messenger. And each messenger was for the age of the church. He said, “In the days…” speaking now, “there came an Angel, Messenger” (word angel, English word means “messenger”). “…came down from Heaven, and He put His foot on the land and sea, and swore by Him that lives forever that time shall be no more.” Is that right? A rainbow around His head, and all these things just taking Always it’s right at the end of the church age where they got the thing so…the ecclesiastic so messed up until God sends a messenger, and that’s the Message to that church age. Then they take his message, ’cause he just lived a little while, and God…then they take his message instead of carrying it on with the rest of It, they make a— a denomination. And then they come make another denomination; another messenger, take another one. You all seen in my book, it’ll all be drawed out in The Seven Church Ages, which He told me; which I stand by as a witness to God to be judged at the day of Judgment for It. It come from God, not from my thinking. Notice, here. I thought—I thought different from that, if I was going to have my own thought. Like Brother Jack told me about the Angel there, how that “That Christ was a glorified body.” But it wasn’t, it was showing that the Message being right, the Supreme Deity, He was God. See? Just the very thing I had been preaching from the Word. The Word always bears record of the Word.

  • ¶67–¶69 And then another mystery comes forth. Then what happened? Another messenger arrives on earth, for a church age. See? Then, when he arrives, he the—the trumpet sounds. He declares war. See? And then what happens? Finally, then, he is caught away. And then when he is laid away, then plague falls, destroys them. Spiritual death hits the church, and she is gone, that group. Then He goes on to another one. Oh, it’s a great plan! Until, it comes to that last angel. Now, he has no certain mystery. But he gathers up all that’s been lost in them other ages, all the Truths that wasn’t truly revealed yet, see, as the revelation come, then he reveals those things in his day. If you want to read it, there it is. Revelation 10, 1 to…1 to about 4, you’ll get it. All right. See? “Takes the Book and, of Seals, and breaks them,” and shows the seventh angel; for this alone, the mysteries of God, is the ministry of the seventh angel. Now, we just come through the church ages, with even history, and prove that. See? It is the—the angel’s Message, of the seventh church, all right, reveals all the mysteries that’s been in the past, all the things in the past. Revelation 10:1-7, that’s to be. Now, remember, “In the days of the seventh angel, his sounding forth, blasting forth the Gospel trumpet, he is to finish all the mysteries of God.” Just like, here come forth in the early church ages, we’ll get it after a while, a doctrine, then it become…a saying first, then a doctrine, and then become a statute, then become a church, through the dark ages.

  • ¶207–¶211 When, you remember the other day, when John was supposed to come, prophesied, a messenger before Christ come, “a voice of one crying in the wilderness.” Malachi saw him. Look, the 3rd chapter of Malachi is the coming of the Elijah that was to come and forerun the coming of Christ. You say, “Oh, no, no, Brother Branham. It’s the 4th chapter.” I beg your pardon. Jesus said it was the 3rd chapter. Now take Saint…You take Saint Matthew, the—the 11th chapter and the 6th verse, He’ll—He’ll say this. The 11—11th chapter, I believe it’s the 6th verse; 4th, 5th, or 6th, right along there. He said, “If you can receive it,” when He was talking about John, “this is he who was spoken of, ‘I’ll send My messenger before My face.’” Now read Malachi 3. Some of them try to apply it to Malachi 4. No, sir, that’s not it. Notice Malachi 4, as soon as that messenger goes forth, the world is completely burned, and the righteous walk out in the Millennium, on the ashes of them. So, you see, if you put that being him back there, then—then the Bible told something that wasn’t so. We’ve had two thousand years, and the world ain’t burned up yet, and the righteous living in it. So it’s got to be in the future. Oh, my! If you get over here in Revelation, and see what that messenger at the end of this age is supposed to do, then you’ll see what it is. He must be a prophet. He’s got to catch these ends that these reformers didn’t see, and place It in there.

  • ¶240–¶243 Now, before I start this, are you tired? Would you like to stand, change position? [Congregation says, “No.”—Ed.] Now listen close. The seventh angel of Revelation 10:7 is the seventh church-age messenger. See? Now watch. “And in the days…” Now watch here: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished,… Now, sounding forth, this messenger, the seventh angel here is sounding forth his Message to the Laodicean church. Notice his type of Message. Now, it wasn’t to the first angel, wasn’t given That; second angel, third, fourth, fifth, sixth. But it is the seventh angel that had this type of Message. What was it? Notice his type of Message, “Finishing all the mysteries of God, that are written in the Book.” The seventh angel is winding up all the mysteries that’s laying loose-ended, all out through these organizations and denominations. The seventh angel gathers them up, and finishes the entire mystery. That’s what the Bible said, “Finishes the mystery of the written Book.” Now let’s note a few of these mysteries, and if you want to write them down. First, I’ll take what Scofield says here, in Matthew 13. If you’d like to type some of them down, if you haven’t got a Scofield Bible, you might read what he thinks some of the mysteries are. Now, in the 11th verse: And he answered and said unto them, Because it’s given to you (His disciples), because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but not to them, but to them it is not given.

The last thing spoke of him. Remember, the last Book of the Old Testament spoke that Elijah would come to the children of Israel before the showing of the Messiah. Are you ready? The last Book in the Bible, the Revelation, shows us that there will be a return of him in the last day, to the Gentile church, a sign. How they miss it! He’s prophesied to come again, just before the great and the second Coming of the Lord. In Mal-…In Malachi the 4th chapter, in Revelation also, the 3rd chapter, tells us that he will be here in the last days. That same one, that’ll stand in the breach for the people, with a little flock that God will give him, he’ll come in the last days. God said so. He’ll be a sign to this Gentile nation, that her time is no more. And, remember, when he appears on the scene, the time is at hand. Let’s pray for God to send him. Time is at hand. As soon as his ministry was finished, Messiah showed Himself. As soon as this great one will come in the last days, will finish his ministry, the Messiah will show Himself. It’ll be so. The time is at hand, so we better pray. You better start praying.

  • ¶308–¶309 I’d do the same to him, if he was going to speak. I’d say, “Brother Neville, will you excuse me? God has give me a message. I got to say it to the people, right now.” And he, Brother Neville, would step right out of the way; either one of us, to one another. See? That’s the way we do. And then if we, if I don’t have any certain thing, then I… I just love to hear him preach. I heard him. How many heard him, last Sunday night? Such a wonderful message, I tell you. It tied right in, what was said in the morning. And, people, I’m telling you, you’ve got enough Word of God that you surely should live right and be right. God bless you now, Brother Neville.

And then put another Scripture, Luke 17:30, Malachi 4. “As Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses,” the anointed Word of the hour, “so will these men,” not man, “men,” anointed ones, “resist the Truth.” “In the very day that the Son of man is revealed.” Revelation 10:1 to 7, read it when you get home, “the seventh angel’s Message, opening up the Seals.” What is it? Not the angel is the Son of man; but the messenger is revealing the Son of man. Can you get it separated now? That’s where it seems to be so hard for you, you see. Not the Son of man, Himself; but the seventh angel, the seventh messenger, is revealing to the public the Son of man, because It’s left the shuck. He can’t organize It. It’s the Grain, Itself, again. “And in that day, Jannes and Jambres will withstand,” anointed ones (make-believers and unbelievers, the church formal and the Pentecostals) stand up against the true Grain, “but let them alone; their folly will be made manifest, as theirs was.” See? You understand now? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Revelation 10, said, “In the days of the sounding of the seventh angel.” Now remember, seventh, Laodicea Church Age. “The sounding of that angel,” when that church age is done denominated and become a church age, when it’s done in its Pentecostal organization; when the messenger to that… What was each messenger? What was Martin Luther? A rebuke to the Catholic. What was Wesley? A rebuke to them Lutherans. What was the Pentecost? A rebuke to them others. Where has the Life gone now? Away from an organization. No more shuck; it’s Grain. What is it? A rebuke to the Pentecost, see, to fulfill the Scripture of this hour. See?

And now, I got one more Message, that’s tonight, before I leave the city. And I want to say this—this. I do believe that shortly, that next step in my ministry is coming up right now, which will be far beyond this now. How…Is there anybody here that remembers the first beginning of my ministry when I put my hand on somebody? You remember that? All right. How many remembers that the Lord promised right then if I’d be sincere I would know the secrets of their heart? How many knows it was said back there? See it happen? I said, “Look, brother, I don’t want to hurt your feelings, but them people out there don’t care whether I say ‘polepit’ or ‘pulpit.’ The only thing they want me to do is to preach the Gospel good and clear in everyday language, and live what I preach. And then if God performs the signs and wonders and takes care of the rest of it…” So that’s right. Isn’t that right? That’s right. So the main thing is produce what you’re talking about. That’s right. If God will back up your word, if the word is “pulpit” or “polepit,” it will be just the same. The fourth was the seventh angel, or the last messenger to the Church, according to Malachi 4 and Revelation 10:7. But the—the end-time Bride will be called out of the… The rapturing, without death, will be called out of the seventh church age, which we are now bearing record of that age. Oh, my! Let’s dig in now, real deep. See? Now, here, also, a type of the seven church ages, which, in Revelation 10:7, that the great mystery of the Book was to be unfolded by the seventh angel’s Message. Now, there’s a Messenger above, always, and a messenger on earth. The English word angel means “a messenger.” And in the seventh angel’s Message, while he was making his proclaiming, his ministry, “then when he begin to sound forth his ministry,” not when he started out. Jesus, when He started out, He started healing the sick and afflicted. “Oh, that great Rabbi! He’s a Prophet.” Everybody wanted Him in his church. But when He set down one day, and said, “I and My Father are One,” that was different. That was different. “And except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His Blood, you have no Life in you.” “Why, He’s a vampire!” See? See? That was different. He didn’t explain it. They had already seen the manifestation, the vindication of the Word of God for His age, made real and proved to them that He was that Messenger of that age. And He didn’t have to explain nothing.

In Christ’s Name, I challenge thee to come out of the man, through the Blood of the Lord Jesus. Every eye closed, every head bowed. [Brother Branham claps his hands—Ed.] Hear me? Hear me? To open to the Church. “In the days of the messenger, of the seventh angel, the seventh angel Message, the whole Word of God would be made manifest. The Seal, that what all the stalk has left off, of why and all about It, would be made manifest in this time.” Is that what the Word said? Then, we see it. Then where are we at, see, where are we at? There is only one thing, the harvest is here. She is dead ripe. She is ready now for the Coming. Notice. No, it’ll never be It. At the harvest time, the Seed is back to its original condition, and must have all of the Word, in order to be the Seed. Now, you can’t have a half a Seed; it won’t grow. See? It’s got to be the whole Seed. It’s got to not manifest…Say, “I believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah! I believe in speaking in tongues.” That’s just part of the Seed, uh-huh, but now there is added to that. Hallelujah! See? The Life, not the gifts; the Life of the gifts. See, see what I mean? We’re at the end time, brethren. Stalk, tassel, husk, is dead and dry now. There is only one thing that has to happen to that, is to be gathered in the World Council of Churches for its burning. The Word has become flesh, exactly like He promised in Luke 17, Malachi 4, and all, see, that’s right, Revelation.

In Malachi 4, aren’t we also promised another eagle, a Pillar of Light to be following, to show the erring church this day that He is Hebrews 13:8, “the same yesterday, today, and forever”? Aren’t we promised another one to come flying from the wilderness? Amen! That’s exactly the Truth. How fitting and matching it is to Luke 17:30, where the Son of man (Eagle) will be revealing Himself to bring to naught all other worship places, such as denominations and so forth! God chose His place. John said, “There It is!” And then we’re promised the same thing in this day, Malachi 4, “To turn the hearts of the children back,” to say that He is not dead, these things are not for another age; baptism in Jesus’ Name was not for back there, but He is now the same. Amen. To bring to naught all other places of worship, that’s what the last-day eagle is to do, to show that all the rest of it is foolishness, denomination is folly, but to point them again with the same sign that He did, that He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hallelujah! Also, in Revelation 4:7, we had four Beasts that we’ve just been through with. The first one was, we found out…find out, was the lion. That was the first Beast that went forth to meet the challenge of that day, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. After Him come the next Beast. And we find out, the next Beast was an ox, which is a beast of burden, a sacrifice. In the days of the Roman cathedral, the Church died out; sacrifice. The next come, was a man, was a Beast with a face of a man. And that man was the reformers, man’s education, theology, and so forth. But the last Beast that was to fly, the last Beast that was to come, the Bible said it was a flying eagle. Hallelujah! And the prophet said, in this day, “It shall be Light.” Oh, my! “In that day there will be Light.”

And I believe you’re going to be so much better in the next twenty-four hours, your mother is going to come here and tell about it. Don’t you? And you, too…All right, sir. The Lord bless you, now. All right. God bless you. [The sister speaks to Brother Branham—Ed.] God, I pray that in Christ’s Name, You’ll bless this handkerchief for the woman. Amen. God bless you, sister. Now, let me hear. [The sister speaks to Brother Branham again.] Father, grant to this woman her desire. I pray, God, that her heart will be so elated over her daughter, till everything that You have for her will be granted to her, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. God bless you. Now, sister, what you want to be prayed for? Oh, God bless you. Heavenly Father, bless this little woman as she stands here waiting for her turn. I lay hands on her and ask for Your blessings to rest on her, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. God bless you now, sister. You believe now? Amen. All right. Fine. Your trouble, sir? [The brother speaks to Brother Branham—Ed.] Stomach trouble. O Father God, I pray for this man’s stomach trouble and ask that he be healed, and maybe tomorrow he will come in and bring a letter, “My stomach never has bothered me since.” In Jesus’ Name, I ask this. Amen. Let’s hear from you, brother. You believe now? All right. That’s good. What’s your trouble, sister? [The sister speaks to Brother Branham—Ed.] What? Oppression. Come here. That’s the devil, of course.

And these freeways, where there’s nothing but the quick and the dead, and those that die, die quick, it’s so speedy like that. I—I’m just an old, slow southerner, and I—I can’t get out of the way quick enough. So— so then, I thought, if it was the going to be… [A brother gives a prophecy—Ed.] Amen. We…I went, Brother Arganbright taken me down to the hospital, the children’s hospital here. I’ve seen many sad sights, but I don’t believe I ever seen anything like that, it struck me so.

  • ¶235–¶240 Now, Jesus never said, “In the days when the Son of God will be revealed.” He was revealed in the church age. But the church has put Him out. Then, He would be revealed as Son of man, “When the Son of man is being revealed,” God manifested amongst the human beings, like it was then, Son of man, prophetic. Malachi 4 is promised, a—a seer to come forth with a voice. Not Malachi 3 now, “Send My messenger.” Malachi 4 now. Don’t get them confused. Cause, you do, you’ll miss it. Malachi 4 was not Malachi 3, “I send My messenger before My face.” But, Malachi 4, when this messenger comes, the world is to be burned, and the Millennium sets in. “The wicked is burned, is ashes, and the righteous walk out upon the ashes of them.” That never happened in the days of John. See? Malachi 4! And watch, there’s to be a sign, and that sign must be a Scriptural sign. Jesus said, “I come from God. I go to God.” He was the Pillar of Fire that was in the burning bush. They stood there one day and said, “You’re a Man not over fifty years old.” He might have looked a little older than He really was. His ministry was heavy. And the Bible says there’s no beauty we should desire, and probably a little bitty Fellow. He said, “You say…You’re not over fifty year. Well, You’ll not over fifty years old, and say You seen Abraham?” He said, “Before Abraham was, I AM.” He said, “I come from God. I was that Pillar of Fire in the wilderness. I come from God.”

Just a moment. “How long will you halt between two opinions?” You know what I did? Now, watch the story as it goes on. I walked out to the woman, standing out there. I said, “Father, forgive me.” I walked out to her, I said, “Could I set down?” She said, “Oh, hello.” She said, “I—I got company.” I said, “Lady, I didn’t mean it in that way.” I said, “I would just like to set here just a moment, until your friends return.” I seen she was drinking. She said, “I know who you are,” she said, “You’re that Mr. Branham that’s down here in that armory building.” I said, “Yes, ma’am, I am.” She said, “I passed by your meeting the other night, I couldn’t get in.” She said, “Mr. Branham, I’m beyond hopes.” She said, “My father was a Methodist preacher, I got two daughters that’s Methodist Sunday school teachers.” I said, “What happened?” She told me the story. • ¶377–¶381 We had to go, of different places of the Scripture, to Revelation 19, to show the Coming of Christ will slay the antichrist. That’s the reason I had to leave these, just take them two verses. I had to go to different parts of the Scriptures, to prove these things. So that’s the reason I went to Revelation 19, to show the end of antichrist, will be the slaying; of Christ, when He comes, He will slay the antichrist. To Revelation 10, to show that the seventh angel’s Message will be a person, in this last days, anointed of God for a ministry just like Elijah the prophet has, as is predicted in Malachi 4, to reveal the true Word of (original) God in this generation, the original Word of God in this generation. Like he did to the natural Jezebel, so will this man do it to spiritual Jezebel, the denominational churches. I had to go to the 7th chapter…the 10th chapter, 1 to 7 verses, to prove that it was right. And over to Malachi, and Amos, and so forth, to prove that. Elijah was a prophet that prophesied and condemned Jezebel, in that particular generation. And Elijah never died. He certainly didn’t. He appeared again, some eight hundred years later, by the side of Jesus Christ, on Mount Transfiguration. He isn’t dead. Now, we find out that his Spirit is to anoint a man, according to the promise of God, in the last days; promised to do the same in spirit Jezebel, as it did in natural Jezebel, in the last age.

We pray, Lord God, that tonight, that You’ll forgive our sins. Oh, we want to keep under the Blood at all times, for we don’t know just what might happen. All things are about wound up, we feel, Lord, that the coming of the Lord is at hand. And we’re fixing to take a journey. And as we think of a journey, we might think of suitcases, and—and extra clothing and extra shoes. But how different from this journey! It’s not packing up; it’s unpacking, laying aside. As Your great servant, Paul, said in the Book of the Hebrews, the 12th chapter, “We lay aside every weight and the unbelief that does so easily beset us, that we might run with patience the race that’s set before us.” And we cannot prophesy now of good things to this modern world. The only thing that we can prophesy through the Spirit is disaster, troubles, earthquakes, great tidal waves, sun and moon failing, the church in the Laodicean age, Christ outside the door, knocking to get in. O God! Just as Micaiah of old, how could he bless Ahab when prophecy was against him? When that great mighty prophet, Elijah, walked up to him, and because he had took the life of that innocent man, Naboth, so he said, “The dogs will lick your blood.” Then how could Micaiah prophesy good things?

And we don’t know what the Lord will do; we do not know. The only thing we do is just believe, watch, pray. That right? And believe that “He’ll make everything work together for good to them that loves Him,” because He promised to. For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Let’s read a little farther. Without father, without mother, without descent,…neither beginning of days, or end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Think of this great Person, of how great this Man must be! And now, the question is, “Who is this Man?” Theologians has had different ideas. But since the opening of the Seven Seals, the mysterious Book that’s been mysterious to us…According to Revelation 10:1 to 7, all the mysteries that’s wrote in this Book, that’s been hid down through the age of the reformers, is supposed to be brought out into view by the angel of the last church age. How many knows that’s right? That’s right, supposed to be brought. All the mysteries of the mysterious Book is to be revealed to the Laodicea messenger of that age.

It’s promised in this age: Malachi 4, Luke 17:30, Saint John 14:12, Joel 2:38. Those promises is just exactly like John the Baptist identified himself in the Scripture. Jesus identified Himself. What’d they say? “Away with such a person!” “John is a wild man.” The church wasn’t able to receive it. That’s the pattern. Neither will the church receive it today. But, to the Elected, God is calling to the Elected. They know it: calling the virtuous Bride, the Word, the last-day Church, the elected Lady of our Lord Jesus Christ, Word. If…Jesus is the Word. How many believe that? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] All right. Then, the Bride is always part of the Bridegroom, so the Bride will not be a denomination. It’ll have to be the Word, manifested, to be the Bride of Christ. He promised to do it. He said how He did. Never uses…loses His pattern. He always did it by the pattern. He done it, every time, by the pattern. He does it again, calling out His virtuous Bride in the last day, the lovely Rebekah waiting for Her Isaac. What a beautiful time! Here it brings into view, the two books that’s going to be mysterious to you when you read the book of The Seven Church Ages. The two books: Book of Life, said, one says you can put your name on, you never comes off; other one says you take his name out of the Book of Life. This brings it perfectly in view, right here.
